What I want to know is how a couple people got their vapemail yesterday?! Since when does the post office deliver on Sundays?

The postman in Indianapolis told me they were delivering on Sunday and on the 25th (!!!) to catch up with all the packages they had. He said the people who were working were all volunteers.

Ok I am so confused. I love the kanger and have been waiting for si to carry them. but I cannot find them on the website all i find are the x2 clearos. can someone help

If you haven't gotten an answer yet, you need to put "t3" into the search box on the SI website. I didn't see them with the other clearos either.

Well, after about five refills my first T3 is starting to have a burnt taste. I can't seem to make any clearos last longer than a week and when I try cleaning them they stop working altogether.

Was hoping to get a bit more life out of the heads before having to clean them or replace. I'm starting to get a bit disheartened with all the clearos out there since they don't seem to last very long.

What juice are you vaping? Try flushing with hot water between fills especially down through the coil tube. Do you get the burned taste with freshly charged batts or at random. The T3 can be kind of finicky but I haven't met one yet that I couldn't get to give me a really good consistent vape.

The one I'm having trouble with has High Desert Vapes Caramelnut Mocha in it right now. It's not a terribly dark juice, but I suppose it could be gunking up the coil. Seems to happen more on a fully charged battery with a fresh fill. I am going to take the head out and give everything a good cleaning and see if that helps. If not, I don't really mind using two heads a week, it's still cheaper than smokes.

Well, my package did arrive on Monday.

Promptly filled them up.

First, let me say I like them. They seem well made. However, I have a couple of comments.

1) Be careful what juices you use. I tried Cherry Blossom, a notorious tank cracker, and sure enough, 3-4 hours after filling it, the tank completely cracked and spilled. However, I have been using my DIY Cinnamon / Menthol mix since Monday without problems. This mix also worked well in the CE2's. The Cinnamon is from TFA so other cinnamon may damage the tanks.

2) I also found them airy, and although I thought it was cheesy, ended up breaking off toothpicks in 2 of the holes. I apologize to those advocating this method, it works very well.

3) I have one that gurgled a lot, and produced little vapor. Nothing seemed to help. Finally as I was switching the heads with the one that cracked, I noticed the juice was slowly leaking out of the drip tip while holding it upside down. It was less than half filled. So, my conclusion, the seal between the drip tip and the tank is not good allowing juice / air to pass through.

4) I have to adjust my routine a bit. I like to switch flavors, and have already dumped 2 tanks because I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing while unscrewing them. So I was holding the tank to unscrew it, and ended up with the tank in one hand, and the head / battery in the other, and the juice in my lap or on the desktop. Just saying, I will now be way more careful.

I know everyone is different. I never had luck with the Nano's and the 10 of those I bought lasted about a week. The CE3's were "ok" to me, but a pain to fill, not enough capacity, and inconsistent vape. However, they make awesome drip taste testers! The CE2's I thought were good, and what I was using exclusively until the T3's.

So, in conclusion, I think these are a winner. I am happy with them, and they will be my main vaping device with the X2's going forward. I like the capacity, the quality, and the look. Seems like SI once again has given us a quality product.

x2'S are known to be "hot" right after being taken off the charger. Sometimes takes a few hits to get the charge discharged so that it doesn't give a "burnt" taste. Just take small hits until the battery normalizes.

Have a noob question Mark - I'm scared to death to take the T3 off my batt while it's still got juice in it. I am assuming you hold the PV upside down and twist the batt off by holding the threaded part of the tank?

Thanks, I'm trying to learn from others before I make a mess.

First of all, don't be scared. I just have to remember to unscrew it while holding the head. The mistake I made was unscrewing it holding the tank itself. I should be ok now, since I have dumped 2 tanks, hopefully I learned my lesson. Last night, I was playing a online game and was taking a second to change flavors while watching the monitor. Like I said lesson learned.

Agreed. The X2s come off the charger at 4.1-4.2V which will quickly discharge down to around 3.8V. Most of the time, I use a VV batt and can burn most SI juices at 3.7-3.9V. The NiQuids I vape have to be dialed down to around 3.2-3.5V to prevent burning. Now, I take long drags which tends to starve the coil wicks for juice so YMMV. You'll find the pg/vg ratio will also have an effect on burning. Most of mine range from 90/10 to 60/40 with the 60/40 being most susceptible to burning. Also, most of the candy and pastry flavors (caramel) will tend to burn and trash a coil pretty quickly. That's when between fill flushes becomes even more important. Regardless, you should get a lot more than a few days out of a coil.

Great info here! What setting would you suggest for a 50/50 mix sweet vape in the T3?

This is going to sound like a Washington DC answer....but....it depends. If you're using the standard 2.4 ohm SI coil head, I'd probably start at around 3.5V and work up from there. If it's a higher resistance coil, you could start up around 3.8V-4V and work up from there. Just be prepared for a really nasty burned hit when you've gone too far  The T3 is a versatile vaping machine and with a few simple mods can be made to do pretty much what you want it to do. The only problem I've ever had is with 100%VG which for whatever reason leaks all over the place regardless of what I do. This one is still a mystery after using the T3s for almost 3 months now.

Thanks Mark, that makes me feel much better. Looks like I'm gonna be ordering a few more T3's for all my favorite flavors!
