Agreed. The X2s come off the charger at 4.1-4.2V which will quickly discharge down to around 3.8V. Most of the time, I use a VV batt and can burn most SI juices at 3.7-3.9V. The NiQuids I vape have to be dialed down to around 3.2-3.5V to prevent burning. Now, I take long drags which tends to starve the coil wicks for juice so YMMV. You'll find the pg/vg ratio will also have an effect on burning. Most of mine range from 90/10 to 60/40 with the 60/40 being most susceptible to burning. Also, most of the candy and pastry flavors (caramel) will tend to burn and trash a coil pretty quickly. That's when between fill flushes becomes even more important. Regardless, you should get a lot more than a few days out of a coil.

The X2 batteries being "hot" after a charge seems to be the answer here. My burnt-tasting T3 was vaping wonderfully last night but again tasted burnt this morning after charging my X2. Knowing that, I'm thinking the X2 Clearos I thought were burnt are probably fine as well.

Going to start rinsing each T3 after every fill, I've got enough that I can get a good rotation going.

Thanks for the insight!

P.S. I've gotten used to the airy draw, I rarely notice it now. I think others should give it more time before breaking off toothpicks in the air holes :D

sigh.. I have one *spitting* in my mouth now. At least with the bottom coil, the juice has cooled some by the time it hits my tongue.
Seems these T3's don't like to be held other than really upright. I have juice dripping through the mouthpiece if I hold it up side down too.

and in other observations.. I broke down and got a manual battery (mostly for dry burns) but it seems the manual X2 650 out performs my little nano's. Every single one I've tried on the manual X2 gives me burnt taste - auto battery - no prob!

I find that the manuals are too much for the nanos too. I like the manuals much more with the T3. When I use the Kangers on my ego, I keep my voltage set around 3.6v and haven't experienced any burning. I use 50/50 e-liquids and vape mostly sweet juices. I adjusted to the easy draw pretty quickly and the airy noise doesn't bother me. I would rather have an easy draw as it takes less effort and makes my vaping more enjoyable. The X2-T3 does work good on an auto but requires more effort to vape.

you must have got juice in the air tube,,just take T3 off batt, turn mouth piece down and shake juice on to a paper towel ,,i run a pipe stem cleaner in to tube and rotate it,then pull out.

I broke out a nano to use on a 808 passthru from a different company. I put in my favorite juice and immediately noticed a change of taste. I think you are absolutely correct on your analogy between manuals and autos.

when you use a manual, you hold the button down longer,,so it gets hotter then a auto.

I tried that when it started oozing into my mouth.. lots of juice from the tank area also seeped out - I'm thinking I probably have something like an o ring seated improperly .. so keeping that sucker up right is my current solution

ETA.. I'd go ahead and clean it out to investigate but it's my favorite whipped cream juice in there.. gonna vape it all gone then dissect the thing

I got my first three X2-T3s on Boxing Day, have filled and been using all three on 3 different X2s, and I am in love!! :hubba:

I guess I must like an "airy" draw, because I take long, slow draws on my manual batteries (the reason I LOVE manual batts), and I enjoy the ease of draw from the T3s. The flavor is clear and pure, no muting, and no leakage whatsoever.

All my X2s are the 900mah (middle size), and the T3 looks just perfect on them :)

I notice the manuals burn a little hotter off the charger. So I have 3 batteries going at once. My system, my Cinnamon / Menthol goes on the freshest charge, tastes good off the charger. My RY4 mix goes on the next freshest, and my fruits go on the oldest (meaning next to charge).

Opal, try this. Take off the head, and turn it upside down. I had one that wouldn't produce much vape, and gurgled a lot. So I took off the head and turned it upside down. It was slightly less than half full. It was slowly seeping drops out of the drip tip. My conclusion, there is a leak in the seal of the drip tip to the center tube. On the bright side, with the heads so easy to clean, I do have a back-up head now.

Also, I want to reiterate, these may not be made of the same plastics as the CE2's. I never had a problem with Cherry Blossom in the CE2's tanks (did melt the drip tip). I filled up a T3 on Monday after I got the package. Never put pressure on it, drove to work, left it in the vehicle. Came out a couple hours later on break, it had completely broken in half. SI said some juices can cause spider webbing cracks on the tanks. Bottom line, I don't need a flavor that badly, and if I do, I will just buy blank cartos.

However, once again, these are holding up beautifully so far with my 15% Cinnamon Red hots mix with menthol.

I really like these more and more, although I am blocking 2 holes with toothpicks.

Well I got mine on Christmas Eve. I've gone through several tanks now and I'm about to try washing this head and put a new head on this one and see how it goes. I've noticed that once I get down to about 1/2 a ml I start to get some issues with wicking and some gurgling.

See here

I have also noticed that they will gurgle when a X2 is beginning to have low output/needing to be charged soon. Might be a good use of the "hot" X2 off the charger to burn some of the excess juice in the coil chamber. One benefit of a vv is you can crank it up a bit to burn off some of the juice when needed.

Thank goodness for videos. I watched the SI video on refilling a T3 and I'm happy to say I did it with no major accidents and that is after Tail has had her evening cocktail!

I'm loving the T3's and ease of use. Just wish the airy feeling would go away. I'm looking for my gorilla glue tomorrow and try plugging a couple of holes.

Did anyone try nail polish yet? Curious to see if it left a residual taste or not.

Well, I'm looking for it. Perhaps I've watched so many that I'm getting them mixed up. I coulda sworn I saw one where they showed how to refill a T3. I'll keep looking Debra.

It really isn't hard at all. Just hold it like when you fill a carto, take the T3 and hold it upside down then unscrew the head and pull it out a bit and then you can refill. I'm on my first refill, and will clean once the juice is gone.
