Tried the T3 from SI yet? Thoughts?

I'm liking mine more after a few days.. and plugging two holes up. I'm actually hoping SI goes with the mini's when they come out too. It's almost too much juice in one vessel if you like to swap flavors around.
I still find filling my nano's easier though

opal I love the nanos on my 78mm ....the first few days are great....as long as the juice isn't to dark or thick.....after that im over em...I wish they were better....like you said so easy to fill

cool awsum....yes we have super glue....now these holes are they on the bottom of the heads...as I havnt got mine yet...in the pics on si site I can see little hole on heads...are they the one or are there more:confused: thanks

Just a suggestion Debra, since you haven't tried them yet. Some people like the airy draw, you might too. If too much, put a tiny piece of tape over one hole at a time, leaving at least one hole open. Do this first before permanently sealing the holes to find the right draw for you. I wouldn't completely fill it up either... maybe about half way. These things hold a LOT of juice! Just my :2c: worth. :)

I think they all have a purpose. I still use 78mm/CE3 combos all the time, especially if my hands are going to be occupied, because they're so convenient. The T3 is great for long period use, as in all day, but you do need to have a liquid that you can vape all day. I've found the tiny tanks on the iTaste are the best for testing liquids simply because they are so easy to clean, easier than a T3, and only hold less than 1ml.

You're right on about that! I'll have one T3 filled with a lower nic level all day favorite (RY4) and I'll have clearo with straight menthol and a couple of nanos with a variety of sweet vapes ready to switch out throughout the day. Some times one completely filled T3 will last me a couple of days. No way can I completely empty a full T3 in one day!

I no longer feel like a noob or amature because I CAN! (empty a T3 in a day) actually a T3... and do some serious damage to a couple clearos.. nanos and carts too. Last night.. while sitting watching two movies.. I darn near wiped out 2 of the T3s

LOL, I think you vape like my wife, she will go non stop for long periods of time! Me, I kinda hit 2,3,4 times and set it down.

My trick is to use different systems all day. 78mm/CE3 while working around the house, X2/clearo while out walking the dog and iTaste/T3 while watching TV or just lounging out. Between the three setups I'm still using between three and five milliliters a day, just not all the same flavor all day.

I just received my 2 T-3s yesterday.

I guess I must be the oddball here, because I am sorely disappointed. Way, way too airy. I ended up plugging all 3 holes with adhesive (similar to Gorilla Glue), and it's still airy but at least vapeable. I have the same juice in both my T-3 and an X2 Clearo. The Clearo gives me better flavor and throat hit. Vapor production is about equal. So, like everything else in the vaping world, individual experience may vary.

I love that you can take them apart for cleaning. And that with replaceable heads they are more environmentally friendly. And, of course, I love the larger capacity. But dang, all this fiddling around with the thing (again). Guess they are just not for me. I'll keep the 2 I have for backups, but I won't be ordering them again.

But I'm happy for all the folks here that love them.

EDITED TO ADD: After a few posts back & forth (see below), it turns out that this 1st T-3 I opened must just be a dud. I plugged 2 holes on the 2nd T-3 I opened, and it seems to be working great. It has about the same amount of airflow as an X2 clearo, and the flavor is now back where it should be. And I'm getting a throat hit now. So I'm once again a happy vaper. :rickroll:

EDITED YET AGAIN: Okay, I don't want to be responsible for turning anyone off from the idea of trying a T-3, so decided to update this post again. I have now replaced the defective T-3 with a new head, and it's working great. So now I have 2 working T-3s with airflow similar to the X2 clearo, great taste, and great vapor. What more could a girl ask for?

You must have iron lungs! If I plug all three holes I can suck my eyeballs into my socks and not get anything through them. I don't have an SI T3 here, yet, but when I get them later this week (hopefully) I'll check to see f there's any significant difference between them and the Kangers I already have. I will say the flavor differs between all of the systems I've used, but the T3 is on a par, at least to me anyway, with a CE3. Not as good as a drip syste, but pretty good and definitely better than a clearo. The problem is that taste is so darn subjective.

No, I really don't have iron lungs, LOL.

But, I still have lots of airflow. So I must wonder where all this extra air is coming from, since I plugged all 3 holes. Maybe the first T-3 I opened was defective in some way. I'll try the 2nd one, and if it works out, I'll come back and post. But as it stands right now, this T-3 with all 3 holes plugged is still way airier than my X2 clearo.

Edited to add: Just in case I did NOT get the holes suffienciently plugged, I just wrapped 2 layers of cellophane tape tightly around the head. No change, so that air has to be coming from somewhere else, right?

I'm adjusting to the draw of the T3s but can't seem to adjust to that GIGANTIC :censored: tip! I got six T3's and gave my daughter four of them, which she loves. I'll use what I have since I also got the replacement heads but much prefer the top coil X2 clearos for the warmer vapor and MUCH smaller tips, also being able to use the flat tips.

Are you using your T3s on automatic batteries? I'm with awsum, on a manual batt if I block all three holes, I get no air at all. I had to block all the holes to get it to work well on my auto battery. I only did it a couple of times, so I didn't pay much attention to TH or taste.

No, I only use the X2 manuals (650s and 900s). I've examined the tank, and I don't see any cracks or anything, but dang, that air has to be coming from somewhere.

That is odd. I plugged 2 of the holes on mine and the draw is about like drinking a milkshake through a straw. If I plug the 3rd hole i get no air through it at all. This is on my 1300 manual. It is the same on all 6 that i have.

OK. Had to wait for the glue to completely set on my 2nd T-3. I only plugged 2 of the holes with glue. I covered the 3rd hole with a finger, and success -- no air, no draw. The 2nd one seems really good so far. With one air hole open, it vapes pretty good, and the airflow seems pretty similar to my X2 clearo. And the taste is back where it should be.

So my conclusion is that the 1st one I opened is a dud.

But I'm back to happy camper status now.

Do you have it screwed on all the way?
I noticed it feels tight, but it can screw all the way down so that it is flush with the battery. Make sure you have the threads lined up well, and just keep screwing it down. I agree with others, it is airy, but if all 3 are plugged, it feels air tight.

See my previous post. The 1st one is just a dud, I guess. But thanks for the suggestion.
