for hose I use 1/16" ID 3/16" OD silicone tubing which obviously has a 1/16" wall thickness. this hose looks a bit more beefy than something that only has a 1/32" wall thickness but it's much more durable and crush/kink resistant which makes a big difference for something like the O&A design and it holds onto pins much tighter than a 2mm ID hose in general. FYI 1/16" is ~=1.6mm, 2mm does also work in most cases but I usually just stick to the 1/16" I'm used to and have been using for years... amazon has some good hose but the best I've found is through McMaster Carr

ok so ray says he would be down for a black delrin O&A, skillzizzo I'm guessing would be fine with black also?... actually I've been playing around with delrin a bit past few weeks in a DNA75 and I've discovered that I really like the white with amber ultem combo, just want to show that here to consider as a possibility to maybe be considered instead of black?

if I do decide to order a 1 1/4" slab of delrin it will have to be just one at his point, either black or white... just wanted to throw the thought of white out there for consideration :) it also looks really sweet in an all white body/door with a black ultem faceplate too. I built one of those too, I'll show pics of that one later but to me personally theres just something I really love about this white/amber combo, I think it's gonna look really nice when all finished with an amber top cap :)

the white also works really well when paired with a stab wood door and chip cover ;) personally I'd rather do white but if the very few who would even consider an O&A delrin mod would prefer black then I would just go with that...

If i was going to get one exactly how i would want one it would be black ultem body, red ultem face plate, and door, black buttons i just love black and red if that was even a possibilty. But realistically i have been in love with what u are refering to as th O&M design sence u first posted it up. Is about the best design for a dual 18650 squonk on the planet in my opinion. Is there even any other dual 18650 dna 200 squonks made at all? I havent seen any besides maybe a couple thrown together things. Would be happy with with a bright pink delrin one is fine by me.

I think I've seen a couple of duals but they're so wide you almost need two hands to hold them :) none of my suppliers carry red delrin and ultem is only available in Amber or black. Ultem is paintable though, but then a painted finish is probably not the most durable thing in the world

The LBC isn't a pass through device. I also agree that 2 18650's beat a lipo every time. I have 2 LBC's and 1 dual 18650 I believe that Turbo's dual design is tops. Anything that has to be plugged in is a PITA.
Yes it is...

I believe I explained this to someone who asked about pass through here before, may have even been you. for something to be considered a true pass through design then it would need to be supplied with enough power to vape directly from the power supply feeding it, completely independent of the on board battery.

technically no DNA mod is a true pass through because it's only being charged with one or 2 amps tops, but that doesn't mean that you can't just continue to vape it while it is charging. you can just leave it plugged in and charging and then still vape it while doing so, but this is really not technically a pass through because when you do vape it it momentarily pauses the charge cycle, vapes through the battery, then resumes charging. acts like a pass through I guess but really not a true pass through...

now toms mod is exactly the same chip so as far as I know you can def do the same thing, UNLESS tom has some other reason for advising against this, so I don't want to be the last word on this here about his mod, I shouldn't answer for his mod really but as far as I'm concerned I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be exactly the same as mine in that regard unless he told you not to, if that's the case then listen to him, not me :)

You are 100% correct.

How well does its squonk with long tube? And do you have any issue with bottle being sideways?
The over/under design squonks great! Just have to make sure to slightly tilt as the bottle becomes less full. You do have to squonk an extra second or so, possibly due to the tube length, but it's the sort of thing you get used to very quickly.

That white delrin/amber ultem does look sharp together!

ha, cool to see somebody agrees with my opinion, and on both counts too :p

I don't like white because, I work in too many very dirty spots. I've never been too much of a pretty mod kind of guy. Most of my mods are natural Al, Brass, Ti, along with some wood. Maybe the woods are pretty. But don't let me sway the way you go about things. Time is money after all.
