Does anyone know if those rules also apply to purchasing "illegal" or FDA not approved e-cigarettes from other countries for personal use, not resale? Like Fasttech, Heaven's Gifts etc.? 2010 PACT Act very specifically does not include e-cigarettes.

Simply put, to stockpile or not to stockpile, that is the question. There is a $50 bottle of 100mg nic in my freezer, almost 4 years of DIY for me ($12,000 in cigarette dollars). Shortly there will be 2 more. I'm thinking about hardware. A few more rda's, a couple 50m rolls of Ti wire, may be another TC mod or two from fasttech. It really doesn't add up to that much, at least it doesn't need to.

I'm worried about people who could quit smoking cigarettes by vaping, this is the sad part.

Simply put, to stockpile or not to stockpile, that is the question.

No, it isn't. Of course you should stockpile. Given the economics of it compared to smoking -- that you yourself pointed out -- it's an absolute no-brainer.

Assuming the "guidance" that the TVECA has published is what we will be facing, the real question is, do we have enough torches and pitchforks?

One thing that Members should Not lose track of. What we saw from TVECA was Only a Document with regards to PMTA.

And there are Many, Many More FDA Documents that we Haven't Seen.

Well I have caught up and read the entire thread today. Scary scary stuff. This thread has taken me from hopeless to slightly hopeful to hopeless over and over again. I do have a few takeaways from it.

There are a few things we as passionate vapers need to do.

1. Keep the pressure on. It looks like our efforts with the phone calls had an effect. Keep it rolling.

2. It is never too early to stockpile for our own personal future vaping. As a part 2 to this if you can afford it pick up an inexpensive kit or 2 to help a smoker in the future if kits no longer are available.

3. We have GOT to stop ripping into each other and diving the vaping community. A house divided cannot stand. Why do the job of those who oppose us for them?

4. Get the word out. Visit the vape shops. Let them know. Give then all the relevant links to do their own research on the topic. Give them links to relevant groups. Burn up social media.

We the People then went through a fallow period. Petitioners were disappointed with what they saw as rote replies from government functionaries, mostly restating existing policy. One of the most popular petitions from this period urged officials to “actually take these petitions seriously instead of just using them as an excuse to pretend you are listening.”

I was in a vape shop this afternoon... was stunned the guy behind the counter had NO idea of anything happening concerning the FDA.

He never heard of ECF either. Said he just opened the vape shop a couple months ago.

I find just the opposite in the local vape shop - many knew of ECF, got some to sign up, but all knew what's going on with the deeming. Active in facebook mainly - which I'm not.

Once I leave the Ethereal Realm of the ECF, I Don't see that at all.

The Vast Majority of the Vaper's I encounter in the Wild have No Clue what is Going On.
