FDA made it law that Stevia ( natural sweetener ) had to be marketed as a supplement,,,,, until the big soda company bought the rights to Stevia, paid of the FDAholes, and now its marketed as a sweetener.

Assuming the "leaked" is the final rule sometime in 2016 (my guess), Vape Shops are in serious trouble. Speaking from my own visits in Vegas to perhaps 20 or more of them in my activist efforts this section will:

- A huge hit to their bottom line with "house" mixes which are extremely popular and provide very high margins. If you DIY (like I do) you understand the margins and return visits it creates

- Many shops do "builds" on attys. Very popular and generates sales of toppers. That's the revenue source per sey, the sale of the topper. Buy it and we will build it for you. Also brings the customer back to the shop for more sales.

- Most Vape Shops will vanish. Hundreds of people will be unemployed.

- People who currently smoke face huge obstacles in switching to ecigs. That's criminal. A death sentence if you will. A tragedy.

- Vegas has big shops and little shops. I don't know any who have the large amount of money, time, and papper work to obtain official FDA approval.

AND, I'm only focusing on a single section that you were kind enough to post. Not the rest of the documents and other "leaks" which will see daylight in the next few days.

I too fear that this battle was lost before it even started. They are going to do what they want to do regardless of anything that "we the people" have to say about it.

Thing is that when it is all said and done, I want to know that I did everything in my power to at least try to change it. Not someone sitting around with my head in the sand hoping that it will all just go away

Most of us, old timers, are prepared and we'll be able to survive. But all those other smokers out there who want to quit but haven't tried/discovered vaping yet--I feel for them.

If they had been honest about THR and smokeless tobacco ten years ago, I may have quit smoking then. And they want to do it again. That's million of lives. They are murderers. I'd like to see them in a class action in civil court answering to that.

WOW, This is pure bullcrap, as a foreigner I maily buy my VG juice from the US vendors, and am planning to buy some flavors too for personal mixing, How the hell will I be able to buy my stuff if it gets banned due to some "regulation failure", IMHO its done because vaping is becoming more and more wide spread, and the government does not want to lose its tobacco business, that's why it's happening to make vapeing more expensive and to make it match up with tobacco sales.

I've chatted with the vendors I use the most. What I've figured out is that most are willing to provide flavorings to mix with my nic if need be.

But this is not the real problem. How would a beginner come up with this idea? They wouldn't! We need to fight and contact everyone even remotely concerned so that others will be able to have the same choices we have had!

We need to BOMBARD heavaly all people who influance this. Tie up the phone lines at the white house, just everyone call when you have a spare minute. Put the # on speed dial. Write letters, send email, all of it. Enough public outcry does get under their skin.
Look at {OTHER STUFF}, it's changing. Some of us know all too well about the black market due to prohbition. Another talking point to mention. Laugh, there WILL be a black market, I'll start it if I have to. No joke. Tell them about the next al capone, or machine gun tommy. Ask how they will keep the cartels out of the country, they have been doing such a good job of it so far. Prohbition by way of legislation, they allready know. Imagine the DEA barging in at 4:20 am in full tactical gear pointing full auto assault rifles at you and your family and screaming at you. They will jump at the chance. Those .......s love doing it. FDAholes are yhe same breed, just with an office instead.
At the very least we need to push for the measure to bump it from 2007 to the 2015 mark for hardware that was mentioned earlier in this thread.
