Now I vape when I can't smoke like inside work, in walmart, at my parents, BUT when I can smoke I smoke.

Just like the Chinnese I just :p Welll I smoke a pack a day, and vape 36Mg. I still feell good, and still full of energy.

May have lost some of my smell, and smell a little mores lol.......

Just passing it along.

E-Cigs didn't kick my habit. I ran back into smoking at some point. I'm a beliver now if you don't vape zero, and don't smoke your never going to quit.........

Or get a great mod and carto. Then, when you try to smoke, it just tastes like fail. I never wanted to stop smoking, just needed an alternative that wasn't going to screw up my kids, and make me stink, and thrash my car and house with ashes, and make me stink, and rule out half of the dating population out there because I stink. Oh yah, I didn't want to stink

Thanks for letting the forum know, because I often wonder if the people that disappear go back to smoking.

Sorry to hear it stopped working for you after a year and a half. Wow that is a long time without smoking ad you are healthier today for having taken so much time off. At least you know about vaping and know it can be done again f you want to try.

If I were you I would get back to vaping 100%. I too quit once for five years and once for ten and started smoking again and thought if I start having problems I will quit again. I was diagnosed with COPD and told I had to quit and I couldn't until I started vaping. I am much better now but damage was done to my lungs that will never be repaired.

Don't get wrong, I can't picture myself going back, but I could see why people going back fairly easily. With vaping, we're pretty much continuing the same habit, minus all the extra chems. E Cigs can be a lot of work. Charging, filling, cleaning, steeping, tweaking, ordering, timing your orders, etc... Buying a pack and all you need to do is open it and worry how long that pack would last.

I feel the benefits of vaping MUCH out weigh smoking. Plus with all the amazing juices to keep you interested, I can never smoke a cigarette again... as long as I don't tire of the upkeep

I like vaping therefore I vape.

I liked smoking, but vaping is just so much better IMO. Not because the health benefits, but because I can't get all these cool little mods (laser/flashlight/passthrough) and it tastes really good.

I Don't think it's that great that your vaping such a high nic level and a pack a day. That level of addiction is pretty big........?

Don't get me wrong. I have several very good mods. More than one more than two more than 3 more than 4 you get the idea. I have every atomizer almost that was ever worth a dame. I've had litesrs of killer nictine, counltless flavors.

I was what you call a die hard vappor, and infact I still am one of them.

Threw all the BS there is just something about smoking I love. I love how you just pull it out of the pack, and just light the baby up and go to town. Plus it really does affect your moods TOTALLY different.

Really I hated the smell of cigs for over a year. Could not stand to smoke them at all just tasted nasty. Then one day it seemed that vapping became so normal again that the shock of tasting a smoke isn't bad again. In fact it becomes just as it was any other time you quit great tasting. I mean I really went threw that stage of I'll never smoke again blablabalbalab.

Yea, well I smoke, and vape now. Just like people who tried to quit smoking by dipping, and now do both instead of just one.

To answer the queation which one you like more. IDK I love both of them about the same. Sometimes I reach for a PV and just go to town for half a day or full day. Then other days I wont even touch it and just smoke. Most of the time I just vape here there, and smoke here there.

PFFFTTTT....when I quit smoking, I vaped 6ml of 36mg juice everyday/allday. I naturally went down...didn't try but I just did.

DaMulta...thank you for your honesty but I'm in it to quit cigarettes all together. If you like doing both, then by all means, do both. You're still saving your health by vaping because you aren't smoking at that time.

wow.. great post... I 've felt that many do not or would not like vaping. It's so different.

I just love vaping. Not sure if others that love it (take away the "it's better for you")... love vaping the same way i do.

It's a nicotene delivery device....period.

But it's just a hell of a lot of fun, and you know exactly where I'm at DaMulta... i learned a lot from your videos when i started about a year ago.

If I go back to smoking, so be it... but I'd have to be cut off from my vaping supplies to do it.

I'm 60 years old, with a 12 yr old daughter, wife, 3 dogs, and a mother that needs my help.

there are just too many negatives to smoking analogs... yuck... knock on wood... I smoked analogs every chance i could.

Smoking just doesn't work for me, and I was playing a dangerous game with my life and my family's welfare. If it wasn't for vaping, I'd probably still be living an insane life (smoking).
Hell, if i didn't give a damn, maybe i'd still be smoking as well.... knock knock on wood.

thanks for your honesty.

Hi Damulta,

I'm in the same boat as you. I too still smoke, about the same amount as you. Vaping mostly at 24 mg though. When I don't smoke, I vape, and vice versa. Hoping that somehow I will be able to stop smoking and be a full time vaper, but at the moment that's not going to happen. I wonder how many people are out there like us. Somehow this forum seems to have only members that were able to quit the day they got their first ecig. Silly thing is, sometimes I know that my next cigarette is going to taste bad. I still roll it and light it. Sometimes I put it out immediately, but mostly I don't. Still haven't got this vaping thing figured out. On the other hand, I still haven't got this smoking thing figured out, after being 34+ years in on this game.

This isn't meant to sound the way it will read so I apologize in advance.

I'm couldn't care less if you want to smoke and vape in fact it just proves that vaping is an alternative to smoking and not a medical drug delivery devise.

I'm still of the opinion that we have now found something that is so close to smoking that it isn't necessary to smoke regular cancer sticks, I have a friend, she is only 42, and has emphysema and will, if she continues to smoke, need oxygen with her all the time because of smoking, I'm not prepared to take that chance.

I'm two years into it also. Part of the two years was a 8-month divorce. I lot of the problems in the marriage were about smoking. I used the divorce as an excuse to not vape at all. Before the divorce I was vaping with very minimal smoking. This time around I really don't care whether or not e-cigs cure me of smoking or not. I'll vape when I want to. I'll smoke when I want to.

More than anything else, I suppose, it's the cleanliness of ecigs that keep me vaping. Being realistic about the nicotine I need has also helped.

Hang in there man.

Dave

Over the almost 40 years that I have smoked, I, too, had several quits lasting a couple of years. Smoking didn't seem to catch up with me until the last couple of years, when I began having difficulty breathing. I, too, was diagnosed with COPD. Who knows, I might even have emphysema. Anyway, yes there is damage that will never be repaired. My breathing is slowly improving being off the analogs. I couldn't be doing this unless I was vaping.

Hey DaMulta! Good to see you around.

Whatever works for you is what works for you. There is more to smoking than just the nicotine. Much more.

There are lots of people who switched to vaping right away, no sweat.

It took some of us a bit more time. I struggled with complete lack of interest and motivation for about 3 months after I stopped smoking. I know that my nicotine levels were good, and i didn't crave cigs, - but it took me some time to get over the lack of the other "stuff" in cigs.

There's a another group that need more than the nicotine on an ongoing basis, thus the smokeless alternatives in addition to vaping, and the quest to make juice that contains whole tobacco alkaloids .
