nice. how did you make the decision to go with the mini?

Because minis are awesome?

lol for those like me and my gf who mostly use ZAPs on ours, the minis are perfect, IMO the zap on a standard looks like a police baton, even longer w/ the extension  anyways we are very happy w/ our minis, w/ the zaps they are close to the same size (actually a bit shorter) as a zenesis standard. Also, a lot of other gennies like the cobra are even longer than the zap, although slimmer.

IMO if you want to use an 18490 get an extension, if you want to use an 18650, kir fanis now makes an extender sleeve for the mini that lets you use the 18650, but all i ever use really are the 18350's. i carry an extra battery w/ me in my car and i have never had both die on me while at work or out.

this is exactly what I wanted to hear jsl1ce. I know that my 18350 batteries basically last me all day in my 3.7 mods, but I was wondering how they would last in a variable voltage mod. Do you really have to take 2 batteries with you though? or do you think if I was using a lower resistance cartomizer, and lower voltage, I could basically make a 350 battery last almost as long as it would in a 3.7v mod? Idk.

Why doesn't provari just make an 18650 extension sleeve? Also, who is Kir Fanis and where can I find this 18650 sleeve for the mini? haha. EDIT- I googled for it and could only find it in europe. Is there US retailers for this sleeve? this is a deal maker for me. I want it.

I actually dont need the extra as long as i grab a freshly charged batt and put it in before i leave. otherwise i do need the extra because i dont know how long that other batt is going to last me ex. i could have been using it all night w/ a ZAP or other genisis these batteries last about 9-12 hrs, w/ a carto tank or vivi nova or something they last a lot longer than that. And yeah, youre right it is in europe, i beleive kir fanis is greek, but he does make a lot of cool stuff for the provari, i believe his US supplier is avid vaper so maybe they will have it soon. there is a thread about it somewhere w/ a poll. Heres the sleeve...

http://gr-modders.com/shop/39-extension-18650-for-mini-provari.html

The full size ProVari is really not that big, even with the 18650 extension cap.

No, its actually not. I wasnt trying to say that it was big, just that it is big w/ the zap on it, very big. which the zap is pretty much all that i or my gf use on it (besides sometimes a hh 357 for sampling juices) so that is a deal breaker for me. A prozap mini is actually a bit smaller than a standard 'vari w/ an extension.

Interesting. I think I'm going to go with the Provari Mini if and when I do decide to purchase one. Just because I'm thinking I will end up owning a Zap someday and I don't want it to be gigantic... Then again, what do you guys think? You think I'll want to take this thing out with me or do you think I'll want to take my eGo or 18350 fixed volt mods? lol. I like using SMALL mods in public. I use my eGo and my 18350 telescope when out and about... Then I use my 18650 bolt or my 18650 mode telescope when at home. I'll have to go to the site and look at the dimensions of the mini and the large but... with the ability to order that 18650 sleeve from kir fanis, I see no reason to buy the larger model considering I can always just buy the sleeve and use my 18650 batteries with the mini at home anyway. I like the larger model because right now all I've got are 2 18650 batteries and 1 18350 battery so I figure it'll be easier to have another 18650 mod... But idk, I like small.

I can feel your pain. I am playing the waiting game as well but in a different way. I bought the mini, got my package in the mail, they sent me the wrong one, I have had to send it back and haven't heard anything since (day 4). I do understand vendors do make mistakes which is fine however, I did expect their customer service to do a better job.

I paid too much money for this thing to leave it at home.
