I decided what the hell, I'm going to make a small batch of unflavored. My question is since I only use pg in flavoring, how much distilled water should I add? I don't want 100% vg. My pg is usually 15 to over 20% depending on what I'm making. But I figure that would be too much water. Do I just do 10%? Thanks.

5 - 10% DW is the norm but it depends on the hardware your using to vape with. Some devices don't tolerate thick liquids. So my advice is start with 5% and if you get dry hits and poor wicking increase it slowly. If your device floods, leaks, sputters and gurgles you've used to much DW.

Are we all glad we have choices  I detest VG but use up to 30%. :vapor:
OK :) Do you like pg better?
I'm sure you notice the sweet alcoholic bitterness taste of pg as you have a good palate ;)
Or is it the heaviness on the lungs it gives you(vg), or it's high sweetness?

@All, Btw, i'm a little intrigued about chemnovatics propanediol(PDO), which is a corn based natural substitute of pg but is petroleum-free... I'm curious about if it still has the alcoholic bitterness of regular pg...

I don't taste any bitter which I sure can usually in foods etc . . .in my opinion it tastes sweet I tried it all by itself to see what it brought to the table. I taste sweetness in both VG and PG, VG is sweeter and more cloying to me. ;) @Yiana if the Distilled Water does not do it for you - you could get a small amount of PG just to use as a thinner. I do the opposite with VG. :)

Have you tried some pg on a spoon or whatever? Yeah, vg is sweeter, I agree. The most annoying part for me personally, is the high alcoholic notes of pg, which is the top note imho, with bitter sweetness in background :)

Maybe i'm just extra sensitive to something in pg's taste though, but i've tried several different brands. Most disagree with me like you, and a small group agrees, lol....

I only started noticing, after having tried both pg and vg unflavored and after that I came to notice the pg taste immidiatelly in flavored liquid also, but just not as bad as with unflavored or tasted raw...

Edit: Imho, it also makes a big difference if tootle-puffing slightly or lung-hitting it like I do ;) Tastewise I mean, atleast for me...

If you feel pg is good then great, good for you :) I wish I felt the same to have more options...
