Prolly a bit of wait but the price and quality look worth it.

The problem, and it's a big one, with the Poldiac is its use of silver. All of the work they put into that mod and they overlooked that. Pretty big fail.

what do you mean use of silver.. on the contact areas? i thought the silver was better than brass for conductivity

It isn't the conductivity. The fact of the matter is that silver tarnishes a lot easier than brass, you then have to clean that tarnish removing a layer each time. The silver plating is just that, plating. #Themoreyouknow

i thought it was a pure sainless steel device. i dont think its plating. the contacts inside have real silver plating, silver plated brass on connectors springs an stuff. but think the main body is polished stainless steel

Yes, the contacts are silver plated. Contacts do tarnish. With plated silver they tarnish rapidly. There are Poldiac owners who have encountered problems already and I wouldn't be surprised if a revision is in the works.

sorry mate, i getcha,,,,,,thought you was talking about the body of the device. i didnt now there were issues with it tbh as i`v only watched youtbe vids which gave it a massive thumbs up... thats a ..... isn it lol. really like that device too
