totally off the most recent topics but i had to share:
I finally managed to kill an eGo batt. For the last couple months, they weren't getting used all that hard what with a phidias, a reo grand, now a pro-vari. But they still get some milage for dripping, and they got downright abused before I got into
mods. Well here I am with one of the eGo batts from my original starter kit, with a cisco LR306 on it, been using it all day no problem. I just took the sample of Adirondack that our good friend AG sent me and put in a few drops and I swear to AG himself that, no lie, the bottom cap fell right off the thing, totally unprovoked. Somehow, one of the diodes right inside that bottom cap is now detached and the battery won't fire. I might be able to solder it back on and salvage it, but i'm pretty sure its not worth the risk of having a battery explode in my face. Especially since I have like 5 more ego batts.
ok thats it, now back to your regularly scheduled thread.
