Hey all. I know the V3 has been taking all of the attention around here, but I have still been working hard to get all orders out. I'm happy to say that all non v3 orders will be in the mail on Tue the 5th. This does not include orders placed in the last 3 days, but it does include ALL upgrades. Lead time is down to around 7 days or less.

Here's my little GLV story. Hope it doesn't happen to anyone else.

May 17th - I paid $95.00 to GLV for a super mini with a purple coating & clear coat.
June 10th - My super mini was delivered, only partially coated in purple.
June 10th - Email sent regarding returning super mini to have it completely covered in paint. Reply from GLV giving me the address to return it to.
June 11th - Super Mini was mailed back to GLV with Delivery Confirmation.
June 15 - Package was delivered to GLV at 2:10pm - Included in package, a note asking how I should pay for shipping to return it to me
June 20 - Email send to GLV asking when they would be sending it back, and again, how I should pay for the shipping.
June 26 - Contact form filled out asking how I should pay for the return shipping.
June 30 - Contact form filled out asking status of super mini and how I should pay for return shipping.
July 2 - Jay posts in announcements that ALL upgrades will be shipped on July 05.
July 6 - Contact form filled out asking if I'm ever going to see my super mini again since I didn't receive a shipping notice and when I can expect it to be returned.
July 9th - Contact form filled out again, no response.

I don't see any comments in your post about when or if you called Jay or Sara. I can't count how many times in these forums and elsewhere I've read or heard Jay say "call me" in regards to problems or communication lags. I also don't know of any other supplier/vendor/manufacturer that publishes their personal phone number so prominently on their Web site and forum posts.

Were it me, I would call Jay and ask him directly about the status. But maybe that's just me.

In no way intending to sound snarky...did you call Jay? There is a number on the sight, and it is the very best way to get in touch with him. Unfortunately for you, you probably got "lost in the shuffle" with Jay and Sarah and the GLV3 preorder hoard. Go to the sight, get the number, call the number. I DO NOT speak for Jay, but with all of my dealings with him I am guessing that you didn't get a shipping request because he was probably going to eat the cost for your trouble. The delay came when he made the choice to wait and send yours to powder coat with the GLV3's because he was going to get the bulk discount and eat the fee for your powder coat. (my guess). I bet if you give him a call he or Sarah will fill you in.

I've called and spoken to Jay and Sara on more than one occasion. Sometimes I feel like I'm being a pain but they are always pleasant, helpful and are quick to get problems corrected. Their customer service as far as I'm concerned has been second to none. Sorry your having so much trouble.

Not sure what to tell ya on this one. I know a lot of people that do better with a phone call and this happens to be one of those companies.

Interesting though.....never heard of anyone without a phone.....a first for everything I guess.
