Hello everyone, I joined ECF just so I could join in the anticipation that is order #1290, it's a GLV-2 Super Mini bare naked, so does that mean that I am in one of your groups 2, 3 or 4 for the GLV3 or am I in a separate group for Super Minis? I've tried to figure out all the anticipation going on here but I admit I'm lost as I've seen some 1200 and somethings have been sent out while some 1100 and somethings are still anticipating eagerly. This anticipation is almost like waiting for the stork to deliver you first born.
It is hard to tell when orders will ship based on order numbers. The GLV3s seem to take more assembly time so I imagine Jay alternates working on specific orders so he doesn't go insane. Your GLV2 not being powdercoated also means it will get back to Jay that much quicker. In the end, it's just an order and wait situation, unfortunately.
Thanks Saintchuck. This thread does seem to be a support group for anxious awaiting, so of course I had to chime in with my own anxieties. Maybe we should start a betting pool on who's going to get their GLV when, winner gets to wait for a new GLV, and then we could bet on that one as well.
Order 1233. I know its on its way. Hoping the postman has a gift for me tomorrow. I got my mad vapes order on Friday which i ordered on the 8th. Got my shipping notification for my Supermini a few days after I put that in. So it cant bee too far away. The anticipation is killing me. C'mon USPS hurry plzzz. Monday could be happy day.

arth_d I just got word that the Buzz Pro I ordered because I couldn't stand the suspense of waiting for my GLV-2 Super Mini is arriving tomorrow and I ordered it yesterday. Yes, I caved and needed some temporary comfort until my precious arrives. 1233 you say, I'm only 57 orders behind you so maybe just maybe next week I'll get the "It's time to stalk the mail lady!" notice in my e-mail too.

Still can't get my head around order numbers. From what you wrote above your order is #1233 and that it is on the way. Yet I am sure you said somewhere you were in round 1.
My GLV3 5V is #1234 so does that make mine next but then I read that orders in the #11** are still to come and then Jay said:

Hey Ozzie I am # 1150 for a GLV3 and I haven't got word yet. Maybe he is getting something else. I am in Canada and with our customs it will probably take longer shipping time than to get to you.

Yeah I think the GLV-3's are taking longer because more work is needed. I didn't know what round I was in I, 2 or 3. I only ordered a GLV-2 supermini, so its basically 1/2 the machine, I got no laser etching aswell.

Alright! Just popped in my ultramarine blue contacts, sure hope they're blue enough, and now thanks to you Higbe33 order #1290 must surely already be on its way to the high desert. One great thing about the wait is I've had the chance to learn about all the goodies that can be attached to the GLV-2. Things like 306 and LR 510 attys, Boge LR cartos, Torpedo and Liquinator tanks, Fluxomizer CE2-X's, VISION DEUX Clearomizers and on and on. And when she arrives I'll probably measure her for her new hand carved presentation box and lanyard and... There aren't many anticipations that get me so giddy but this GLV-2 has got me all kinds of excited.
LOL Wing. I think the wait is going to make me appreciate it more when it gets here. I'm 1262 and think the last update was in the 1130's. Those two Aussie's should go to the front of the line however. I hear our Navy boys are treated very well when they are down under.

So now you're saying I should join the Navy and move to Australia. Geez, I've already got the even number and put in my blue contacts. I think it might be cheaper for me to get a little place in Farmington Hills, Michigan so I can mosey on over and meet the new neighbors at Great Lakes Vapor.

Sure will, but I have a feeling that being a vaper and living in that neighborhood could get rather costly real quick. And, just imagine if you're their neighbor and still have to anxiously anticipate the arrival of your new GLV over the course of a few weeks while you have to see them every day, restraining yourself from asking every morning, "what order are you guys on?"

GrandCrossSteve, now there's an idea, maybe I should go back to school to keep my mind off the GLV order. I do have to say I had no idea that waiting for my GLV would end up with me getting an extra mod or two to tide me over until my GLV-2 Super Mini arrives. I think there's a cross company conspiracy going on here somewhere. Heck I've already placed two more orders for spare batteries knowing good and well when order #1290 arrives it isn't gonna catch a break for months. I'm going to vape my new GLV stupid!
I ALMOST bought a BB to fill the gap... I had my finger on the trigger a couple times now... But I restrained. I actually sold off all of my egos but one, and all of my boxes but one, so I could buy the Super Mini (#1254) and that's all I have until it comes!
What if a bird flew off with my ego? (tell that to your shrink) What if I dropped my box? (which I did, right after I sold my others, but it went back together just fine THAT time) I'm only down to 2 PVs!

Monarch79, I don't know if I could have given up all of my security blankets like you did. You must be going even more nuts than many of the rest of us. Me, when I got my first stater and kit and dropped my first batt on the first day I spiraled out of control ensuring I had backups for my backups backup backups, and I made good and sure that they've got backups too. My emergency fund has been cleaned out thanks to my unfounded fears, but at least I've now got a vape stash in every room and workshop around the house as well as multiples in the truck.
