Sad I didn't get too many posts in this week. Life gets in the way!

Quick questions: I just noticed that my carto I used in my larger tank (Frosted Pyrex 4ml) is performing a bit differently than the one in my little polypro (VVV 3ml). It seems like I used to get a nice little crackle from both, but now my small one only gives it. Does that mean my carto is starting to die out in my frosted pyrex?

I did flood my carto but seemed to have remedied the problem. Will flooding a carto shorten its lifespan?

Teh Chat - Yeah the flood, and wake of the flood, for cartos, bummer that eh. I am not sure what constitutes a dead carto is anything other than the d*** thing doesn't perform like you want it perform. Some last for weeks for me, some for a week. Some are bork from the start.

Overall I love them sooooooo much.

Carto Haiku:

Carto crackle pop
bring the juice flavors tasty
keep the flood at bay

Thanks VC - yea I'm not actually sure what I did to flood it. While refilling I think I pushed it back up to quickly and the pressure maybe forced the liquid through the punched holes. It still works in terms of producing vapor - so it isn't "dead-dead," but just doesn't seem to be the same since it flooded. Perhaps its just nearing the end of its life cycle. I have used it pretty heavily for several weeks. It hasn't been my exclusive tank as I have cycled in some others, but I would say it is my primary (certainly my coolest and favorite looking).

RayN - I'll be sending some business your way soon. I think I've got my brother convinced to give this vaping thing a shot - and won't have him go wasting time somewhere else. I may have a few other converts to send your way soon as well. Maybe I'll just order for them and rack up some rewards points with ya.

For days I've been wondering why the vape isn't as smokey as I'm used to. Maybe new juice? Na can't be..
Hmmm maybe just maybe this isn't a LR carto like I thought. Throw it on the RR and Crank it up to 5 and voila!!
Somehow its a SR! :)

Like that drip tip. Glass or acrylic?

I was really interested in one of those VV passthroughs. How do you like it?

11/09 Entry #5 . . .

After "My" last post - I had to RUN OUT TODAY . . .I'm sure most of "You" can understnad when an "emergency" (that really wasn't an emergency of a "Friend") hits . . . Had to calm them down and set them "striaght" about getting carried away over something that was so simple to deal with if they just took a breath to think before they just react . . . :D

Thankfully, everything is back to "NORMAL" (if that is what you can call it) . . . :D

SO Now that I have "My" 5th post I got to do a walk around ECF and see what's else is happening . . . ;)

Be back later for some Chit Chat . . . :D

It's a rider robust! Not a passthrhough :p
511116198_869.jpg Just picked up a couple from a co-op .. One going to a friend tomorrow and the other might go to another friend if he gets serious with vaping or might stay with me as a spares spare spare.. .
And the tip is just a plain old clear plastic drip.. Or at least I think it is.. It came with an old smoktech 3ml tank I picked up when I began vaping.. It's now in someone elses hand but the tip stayed with me..

This one?

I'm excited to see the movie. The book was pretty cool. I got it on audiobook a few years ago and really liked it.

5) Yep.. that one. It looks like its going to be a good movie but the trailer didnt excite me. to me it doesnt appear to be anything like the book. Should have just given it a different name.

I don't think flooding a carto shortens it's life span. I often intentionally flood one if it gives a dry hit often. Sometimes flooding it a few times seems to "teach" it to wick properly. At least that's been my experience.

Oh ok! It looks like one of the VV PTs with the little up and down buttons. At least the one I'm thinking about had the two buttons and the LCD screen. Nice looking unit you have there.

I have a growing drip tip obsession, and want to find me a nice clear one sometime soon. I think it would look nice one of the Pyrex sidewinder tanks.

Yea it doesn't seem at all like the book. I guess they are just going to use the accounts from the book for the setting and tell it through one perspective and make it an action movie, which I suppose will be fun, but yea... not really WWZ as I expected either. I hope they at least do some interview type stuff or something for the special features or something to give homage to the book.

Edit:

RayN - thanks for that info. It certainly seems to be wicking like a champ. Actually better than before - so what you say makes a lot of sense. Still lots of vapor - just no more crackle like I was used to. (BTW - these carto's you provided in the tanks seem to be really fantastic. I've heard of people having "issues" with the Boge but the ones you sent me have been really stellar so far. I've noticed ZERO odd taste - and the lifespan of them has been really good. I'm still on the first ones in two tanks after almost a month of rotational use.)

If anybody has worries about if they can punch a carto or not - I would recommend getting them through Ray. He will punch and test them for you for only a buck. He couldn't make it any easier to transition to using a tank - and his service is absolutely TOPS.

How do you recover successfully from 'flooding'? From my experience I will set it down to let it dry out a bit, coming back and it's fine - for a while. Then they flood again, spraying juice in my mouth and no vape. It's like there's pressure buildup, but I can unscrew the side-fill and it still happens. Then I just toss the carto and start over.
