5) Uncle, thanks for sharing that you successfully went back to school! I'm 31 and planning to go back next year. :)

Congrats on going back to school. Im 42 and in my second semester with a 3.8 GPA.One of the first things you'll notice when going back is that you arent as alone as you think you are, especially if you take night classes.

No - Congratulations and GOOD LUCK TO Both of YOU ! ! !

OH BTW: YES - To Night Classes, especially if you take a "Full" load (12 credits or more, I did a "minor" too) and are at school fulltime . . . So much better, when you are going to school with other "Non-Traditional" Students . . .;)

Uncle, you are TOO f-ing funny!! I love your sense of humor!

I went to college and grad school too young. I didn't have a clue what I really wanted to do. Didn't discover that until I was in my mid 30's.
But, All's Well That Ends Well ! :)

Keep plugging, my friend. :vapor:

3. so true. my education isn't in anything i want to do with my life.

CHIT CHAT . . .

OH - I discovered about "LIFE" way too early . . . AND - I am not tellin' that story here (although parts of it are on other threads here on ECF) . . .

AS for "My" College Education . . . Let's just say - All it did was "formalize" what I learned on the "Streets" and in "My" Other JOB's (& gave "Me" the "Paper" to walk into some other doors I might not have been able to) . . . :D

SO - What's Next ? ? ? Who Really Knows . . . :D

I'm almost totally "retired" if you can call it that - being "disabled" and living in a community of people 10 - 30 years older than myself (I'm 1 of about 7 people they allowed in here - you have to be 55 or older and they usually don't allow anyone under 62 - another long story not suitable for this thread ;) . . . Although, I will say I lived here with "My" Mother for quite sometime while I took care of her before she died 4 years ago. Yes - managment knew but looked the other way :) )
