Unfortunately, I totally blew my budget on a VV Gripper mod from pbdragon.com I LOVE it! But that's it for me until the first of the year.
Of course, I can't go without buying from Ray, which I did also on Black Friday

5. Thinking about trying grommet on the bottom and aluminum cap on top like some other VVV users have suggested.

4. any reason would that be any better? i feel like the grommets are crazy hard to move at all without pulling them out and spilling juice.

The grommets rotated pretty easily and you can use the filler with the aluminum tops, AND, they do not look bad mixed

Decisions, decisions.... I have a tank that is almost out of juice with a carto that is almost starting to burn. Do I add a little more juice until the carto really starts to burn or chuck what's left of the juice and put a new carto in...

5. i do the james bond fill. i tilt it sideways and put a new carto with a fill tool in and push the old one out without wasting juice.

3) Unfortunately, I don't think I could do that with the polypro tank I'm using, the grommets slide around too much. I only have a little bit of juice left, so I might give it a try over the sink, but I'm not optimistic.

4. Ocelot with my polypros I syringe out the juice, swap the carto, and then replace the juice and refill. I have yet to think up a quicker way, or a syringe-less way lol, but now I've had a little practice the whole process usually takes about five minutes including punching the carto and my picky priming routine LOL

That's the only way of that I know if using the grommets.

Chit chat - that's what I've ended up doing. I'm going to have to get another set of grommets though. One ripped tonight; luckily, it's not leaking.

5. I picked up replacements awhile back cuz I'm *soooo* clumsy I figured I'd have wrecked at least one by now lol. Glad yours isn't leaking!

4) Okay - I'm ranting here! When I buy juice, I usually pick up something else, like clearos, attys, whatever, since I'm paying shipping anyway. About a month or so ago I bought some vivi nova heads along with my juice. Did I look at them when they arrived? Of course not. I tossed them in a drawer with the rest of my back-up gear. I went to use one tonight, took one look at it and squeaked "What The Fruit Bat Is This??!!!" I checked the site and the page with the heads on it is gone, I guess they don't sell them anymore (I wonder why?), but they still sell a "Vivi Nova." It's got Vivi Nova written all over it, but if you look closely it's a rebuildable Stardust clone. And they want $10 for it! I don't get it. I actually like their regular Stardust clones, but I'm certainly not going to buy one of their rebuildables just to use the heads.

Yeah, yeah, Caveat Emptor...
