Realize my Vamo was being shipped yet it didn't specify that on the China Post tracking. I lay the blame solely at the feet of China Post. Last yr I had a very large order from HC and it only took 7 biz days. Something is going on with the exportation of products out of China- notice many vape vendors are out of stock and have been for quite awhile. Before I received mine last update was also "opening status".
Hoping yours arrives soon.

It seems like the process of China Post airmail is random and depends on destination countries.
Or possibly it is just upon Chinese custom officer's mood.

Mine is still at Opening status:

item No. Year Status Location Destination Country Date
RBXXXXXXXXCN 2013 Collection 10061400 US 20130315 1404
RBXXXXXXXXCN 2013 Departure from China Beijing US 20130315 1817
RBXXXXXXXXCN 2013 Waiting for transit airline Space Beijing US 20130316 1031

I placed my order on March 4. VB said SS VAMO was unavailable although there was no notification on the web site.
I was informed on March 13 that my package was shipped.
The first tracking info was available since March 15. And, just I began to wait....wait....and test my patience.

Last year, when I ordered from HC by China Airmail, it took almost one month to arrive.
It was OK since the customer service at HC was really attentive....

VP still needs to improve its customer service if they want to continue its business with non-Chinese customers.

That seems true indeed. I just realized that HC uses Shenzhen or Hong Kong as their export port while VB shipped through Beijing International Airport.
On a website post, it is stated that China Air Mail often has a problem with limited air cargo spaces. Probably, Beijing airport is one of the worst ones in China. :(

I always get stuff shipped from hong kong in half the time it takes china post.

Yep. Ordered 4 batts from Hong Kong and they were here in 11 days.

In my experience customs, both here and in China is always the culprit although it is much, much more common for the problem to be on the Chinese end. I order quite a few little crafty doodads from reliable sellers in China with very good customer service. The vendors ship right away but my orders have taken from 5 days to 3 1/2 months to arrive via China Post. I restrict my use of China Post to stuff where a "whenever" delivery date works for me.

Finally I can post here :p

Got my Stainless steal Vamo from vaporbreak today. It came in a nice box with instruction manual, batteries and charger.

Orderdate was March 16.

The device is awesome :D

Yeah, I'm also curious as to what shipping you paid for. I'm still awaiting my delivery using China Post. Been waiting 26 days since "acceptance" status; 38 days since I ordered.

Like I said before, I ordered a chrome Vamo v2 from Exhale Vapors on 4/1, shipped same day, and it will be here tomorrow (4/3). Excellent.

I'm pretty bummed that I'm probably not going to get the SS Vamo I ordered from VB. Guess I'll just use the money that I hope to recoup from PP to buy a SS Vamo from a US vendor.

Best of luck to those who order with VB. Cheers!

I used the standard shipping method and I bought the kit they had before.

Mine has the CE and rohs markings.

One thing though, the displayglass is sticking out a bit :p

Cool! I ordered mine a few days after you did. Hopefully I get lucky and it shows up. Not holding my breath though. :)

UPDATE!!!!! My order just departed Flushing, New York! It's state-side! Squeeeeee!!!! Breath holding commencing!!! I guess the lesson here is "Don't order during Chinese holidays".... or "When ordering from China, just order and forget. That way when it shows up it's a surprise!!"

Took a month, but it's here! Ordered the SS, charger, & 2 18350 bats. The batteries are gray, made by DKL, says their 900mAH, rather hard to believe .... We'll see how they compare to my AW IMR's over time. The charger has a fold out AC plug, label saying 3.6v @ 700mAh and 1.2v @800mAh. I use a nitecore I4 charger, so this will be a backup, or office charger. For the money, the charger and batteries is a good deal, but I'd advise anyone to get a decent charger and good bats like AW, eFest, or Panasonic.

The vamo has the CE markings, no scratches, works just like its supposed to. Only issue I've noted is when I screw on a viva, it is slightly, just barely noticeable that the 510 connection isn't straight, maybe 1mm larger of a gap on 1 side compared to the opposite side. Everything came boxed in a nice black box with 'eGo Variable Volt/Watt APV' printed in silver on the outside.

All in all, happy with it .... Best of luck to those still waiting!!!

Picked up my VB SS Vamo from the Post Office. Display crystal clear. Has CE markings, came in a box with an instruction booklet. Panny 18650's fit perfectly, works with 18350 batts, has new larger gold spring and all functions working. One button is upside down but for 30 bux I'm not complaining as it's hardly noticeable- maybe one day take it apart and flip the button.
LOVE the VW.

On second thought ..... I'm truly wondering if I received a chrome vamo instead of the SS I ordered.

Its quite a bit more polished than a stainless iseason mod I have, does leave fingerprints (unlike the iseason), and a magnet does stick to it (unlike the iseason). Wish I had a chrome to compare it with. Not going to wait another few months to ship this back for another though. Crap. Any good method to determine chromed or stainless version?

I bought four vamo's from vaporbreak. They arrived today and two were defective! One has the bottom cap screwed on at a 30 degree angle. It's tight enough that I can't get it off by hand. I'm sure the threads are totaled. The 510 connection is too low on the other defective one. It prevents larger diameter attys from screwing down far enough to make electrical contact. I was able to swap parts and get three working units out of my order but I am not happy about being sent two defective units out of four.

It would cost a minimum of $13 to send the defective vamo back to China so I'm not going to bother RMA'ing it.

On the upside, they all vape better than my Gripper VV and Ovale/Segelei V8. The bum units really took the enjoyment out of getting a new device though. :(
