They are two pretty different PVs. The Vamo has variable voltage/ variable wattage/ led screen/ Avg vs RMS power, etc. The Bullet is a fixed voltage device. The Bullet has been around for a while and the Vamo is relatively new. Both are good devices. For the most flexibility I would recommend the Vamo. Good Luck.

Where is the cheapest place to buy a vamo?

alibaba - I got my V2 in a kit with 2 knockoff vivi novas, 2 18350 batteries that are working just as well as my efest IMR's, a needle tip bottle, and a battery charger.

Paid a -total- of $57, delivered.

Shipping took 4 days from Hong Kong to New Hampshire.

I'd suggest a Silver Bullet with an Evolv Kick. The construction and build quality of the SB is fantastic, while the Kick gives you variable-wattage functionality.

Pretty hefty price tag for less functionality. Silver Bullet + Kick Sleeve + Kick. 10 Watt limit, No resistance check, must remove the kick to change power.
I guess it would depend on how rough you are going to be on the device.

I agree that there's less functionality, but for me the price is worth the superior craftsmanship, build quality, and durability. It really depends on what your priorities are in a vaping device. For my part, I rarely stray above eight watts, so the limitation doesn't matter to me. For variable wattage, does resistance check matter much since the output adjusts dynamically?

For the whole Kicked SB setup you're talking almost $150. That's quite a big leap for someone to make from an eGo Twist. You can also pick up a blemished Provari for $140-150 so you have to throw that in the mix if your price range is that high.

Now if we're talking just the standard Silver Bullet vs. the Vamo I'm going Vamo but I'm a VV kind of guy.

I don't disagree with you, but I didn't see that the OP was concerned with the price difference between the two (I very well could have missed it). I would add that the SB has proven to be sturdy, with many ECF users having used them for years, so you're paying for that as well. While I think the Vamo is a very nice device, I've seen more posters with issues with it than those having problems with the SB. Its longterm reliability remains to be seen, but I would bet that if a vaper bought both at the same time then the SB would last him/her longer.

I was in the same situation last month. I was stepping up from a eGo C. After going back and forth for a few weeks, I decided on a silver bullet, a sleeve, and kick. Got my batteries, a charger and loving this setup a lot. I also bought a multi meter, and a couple of different RBA's. I love it. This will definitely last me for a long time, the build quality is top notch. Now in a few months or sooner, I'll get a VAMO, ZMax, Provari, hybrid, or something else, but now I have my batteries, charger etc. so I won't have to really factor those into those purchases, and a quality backup/main AVP in the silver bullet.
