Oooh! The red would look great on the Lavatube - let me know if you decide you don't like her anymore :) (has anyone else noticed that most vaping gear is referred to in the feminine? I wonder why that is... lol)

Because they're smokin' hot of course!!!! I'll let you know after this weekends sale:w00t:

Whats up people?
Im Bryce, been vaping for almost 4 years now. I whack a 30ml bottle of 26mg menthol DK juice in about 1-1.5 weeks, I use a LR510 bridge removed for dripping, and a 3.7li nico stick that I have to keep repairing from over-use.
I make orders from China every 6-8 months weighing in at at least 9lbs (atomizers, tips, liquids, new PV's), and I dont plan on quitting any time soon. Maybe just cutting back due to the dry/inflammed throat airways over-vaping causes.....im stressed out.
I was a pack to pack and a half smoker before, and it hasnt changed nicotine wise (maybe increased), but im off and run no risk of lung cancer. Still a Vapeaholic though.....
The ecigarettes have also saved my father from an earlier death and has given him the opportunity to continue to use nicotine while having stage 4 cancer. He has quit the same time that I did, and is still alive today. He surpassed national averages and continues to vape.........Incredible.

Welcome Hawaii to the vapeaholic club! We're glad to have you, and that's totally awesome about your dad. And yes, it's truly incredible! I lost my dad to lung cancer, and I continued to smoke. This has been the only way,,, THE ONLY WAY,, I was able to give those damn things up. Congrats to you both!

Aloha Bryce....good to hear all is well....I wish I was in HI right now...I need a vacation and I LOVE the islands...
I started about 3 months ago with 24mg and within the past couple weeks found that 24 is just too high...do you find that a lot of folks stay solid on what they started with for so long?

Maybe its time for some pineapple juice....

Thank you, yeah the islands offer a pretty laid back lifestyle, but I tend to get used to privilages and take things for granted though, so its normal to me lol......What vacation? I wanna go to Disneyworld :D

Yeah, the vaping thing is easy when the withdrawals of smoking cigarettes have 'mostly' ceased. When I quit analogs I just felt 'funny' for about six months and had some irritability issues, but it went away thank God. The bad part though, is that now, I find vaping much more enjoyable and would probably have a harder time getting off of this new habit as opposed to the old one :p
Keeping up with the vaping is worth it though. Just like any unhealthy addiction, its just better to quit altogether and stick with it. And yes, again, it gets a lot easier with time as one replaces an old habit with a new one. Maybe you will be looking to quit nicotine also in the future. I am, but its gonna be hard as hell with my 2 pack a day e-juice/nicotine intake lol.

BTW, you from Hawaii? The weather here is crap just for a heads up :D

Lucky we got off those damn cancer sticks huh? Congrats back!! :D
Sorry to hear about your loss. Cancer is a hard thing to deal with, especially with a loved one. It had to be the worst one for my father: Extensive stage 4 small cell carcinoma. All from smoking. My addiction was drugs when we found out my dad was sick, but his pain and the whole experience helped me quit and grow the hell up.
Anyways, keep it up. You must be a strong person to have dealt with a family member having cancer and quit smokinig at the same time. Respect.

Hi Bamboo!! Welcome, you certainly qualify to join the club!!

Hawaii.. I think I'm more happy to hear you kicked a drug habit than the analogs.. we're dealing right now with hubby's daughter who is an addict, a liar, a thief,,, has lost her two kids who now live with hubby's ex and just walked out of court ordered rehab for the second time. There's a warrant out for her arrest now. I can't stand the girl, but this is horrible for my husband and it kills me to watch it. I actually lost my dad in 1993,,, and yes, I continued to smoke. How dumb is that?

Anyway,, I'm glad you're all here!! :D

Hi Bryce - welcome to our crazy vapaholic family! Congratulations on 4 years of vaping - amazing how easy it seems to stay off the stinkies when we have the ability to vape, isn't it.

I quit smoking using the patch on 10/29/11, had a nasty accident on 10/31, and (barely), managed to stay quit until the first deposition regarding the accident in January... that day I bummed a clove (or 3...), from the friend who drove me to the depo, and the next day was on my way to buy a pack of cigarettes when I decided to try to find an ecig instead. I am grateful every day that I bought a Mistic instead of a the cigarettes. I'd rather chain vape my way through 6-10ml of juice every day than have another craving for a stinkie :)

Congratulations to your father - having vaping as a less harmful alternative really does save lives!

That sweet looking mod is a Gold Rush :) She really is lovely, and Iron Monkey has forbidden me from selling her lol He's taken 2 puffs off of her since she came to live with us, but he has a little vape crush on her :)

The lavatube is surprisingly intuitive. Push the power button 6 or 7x, and it tells you remaining battery life. Hold both the up & down buttons in for a few seconds to lock your voltage in, and do it again to unlock. That's pretty much all you need to know! Love it - I know you will too!

Did you know that DisneyWorld is only about an hour and a half from where VapeStock is being held in June? I think there are still rooms to be had, and if not, I can help you find one if you want to to come for a vacation ;) (yes, I'm trying to get everyone to come play at VapeStock - it's going to be a great vaping party!! :smokie:

Hi Bamboo! Welcome to the family! Your first month sounds much like my first month... you might want to hide your bank card now, and put some kind of lock on your paypal account if you have one lol

Luvinit - I'm so sorry things are getting worse with her! I hope she will eventually turn her life around, and/or that you will somehow be able to find some peace in your life.

Smoking through your dad's death isn't dumb, it's normal. I did the same - my dad was a 2-3pack a day smoker for longer than I can remember. Funny, I grew up swearing I would never smoke, yet in his last days when he was in ICU, I was out in the hospital parking lot inhaling cigarettes as fast as I could (on blacktop, with no shade, in July, in Nevada. It was miserable & I still did it - as did most of the nurses!!!).

I'm just glad that we've all found a healthier, less harmful way to satisfy the nicotine and physiological addictions we had to smoking!

Thanks for the recognition and support :D. Its amazing how we can live without cigarettes when we have the luxury of vaping.. All the benefits of smoking with no problems......I call it cheating death.

As for my next vacation, itll be awhile seeing that all the finances are torn up and in the toilet from doctor/medical bills, but when I finally have the time to go on one (maybe with a future date) and have the finances in order, ill be looking foward to stop by the convention/gathering in celebration of success and new leases on life. Thanks for the invite and connection :) Id love to be there.

Congrats to you also for quitting. Stuffs hard, but when one has determination.....and a new habit for replacement, it can be surprisingly easy. You are totally right man.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes people. Seeing that I have been here three years, I shouldve been inducted to this club earlier. Good thing I decided to log on again....

Thanks. Although there is no reason for drugs, some are more understandable than others. And when one has to sit and watch the family member they care about the most in life, its a bit hard to resist a "crutch". Addiction can be a problem for families and it has been with mine, but its just a matter of growing up and remembering promises made. Its especially motivating when somebody keeps believing in you no matter what.
So yeah, I quit that too. Almost a month and im never going back. Made it on a life promise. Its a bit hard to get my life back in order, but its going a lot better.

Way back in 07 my dad had to go on 24/7 oxygen from COPD and Emphysema (spelling?) and I didnt quit smoking until three months later. So no, it aint dumb at all. I had my dad physically show me what happens if I keep smoking, but I didnt listen. I was stubborn that way and still am a persistent guy to this day.

Im glad im here and back also. Thank you :)

Come join us any time you'd like Bryce - there's usually someone prowling the thread, ready to commiserate about what our last order did to our bank accounts, share excitement over the latest vape mail, or just chat :)

The Suncoast Vapers Club has vape meets every month, so even if you eventually find yourself vacationing in Florida and VapeStock isn't going on, you're more than welcome to come join us for a vape meet :)

I like your term Cheating Death - I may have to snag that :smokie:
