I have a .75 regular Clapton build in one of my Serpents and it's pretty nice. I'm gonna have to get myself some of that fused stuff!!
Not to turn this into a serpent thread but +2 on the serpent! My Stout should be arriving tonight along with a spool of some 36/26 fused dual core clapton wire. Looking forward to building the serpent and pulling it off the sx mini for a while. The serpent is one of my favorites and it should stand nice and flush on the stout!

Don't get too jealous... got the shaft from usps and I get to sit here and only look at the shiny and wait for the batteries to arrive on Monday, lol.
I originally thought it came with an adapter, but then didn't see one in the box. Just found it... inside the mod.
I rarely have issues with the USPS, finally caught up with me I guess...my Lite has been stalled in the ATL for the last 3 days.
That Atlanta hub is known as the Black Hole. Lol. Atlanta and Kent WA. Are the worst USPS hubs on the planet.

Will do. Just got home from work and put in an old 2600mah sony 26650 I had charging. I need to play with the controls a bit to get familiar with them. Seems pretty simple so far. Just for giggles I screwed on my black crius that I needed to recoil and this sucker (stout) seems to have revived the build that I thought was done. Hmmm? Just running in vw right now at 38 watts on a dual .35ohm build, 26g, and this thing fires like my sx mini in powerful mode. Immediate ramp up and then some. Pretty impressive so far in vw mode. I will get into the temp portion maybe later tonight or this weekend for sure. A little pooped and lazy tonight after 14 hours behind a computer. I love the feel in hand better than all my other mods including the sx mini. Can't beat the smooth curves. Very weighty, solid mod. I can't tell if it's black anodize or powder coated. It doesn't appear to be painted imo, but who knows at this point. I guess when is scratched I'll know. If all goes well with temp this weekend then I'll order the silver.
Oh, forgot to note that in reading other posts about the dim display, I took a flashlight and looked closer at the acrylic display cover and it's tinted a little. I'm sure that's partly why the display brightness isn't as good as it could be. Don't know if a software upgrade would help much without effecting the battery life.

Silver Stout arrived this morn. Cleaned her up a bit, installed MNKE from RTD, updated the FW and screwed on a Serpent. The two look like they were made for each other! Matchy, matchy and all. lol
Love this set up and I'm sure the battery will last at least a day. The Stout fits my hand perfectly!! Glad I went for the Stout instead of the Classic!
Come on Freedogg where are the pictures? My silver is still hung up in Atlanta and I thought I would have it in my hands today.
