Man... Gotta Love the Cubism Effect of Light/Shadows and Nonintersecting Edges in that Photo.

Did the firmware update and all went well. Quick and easy. Tore down the serpent and built and 8 wrap, 2.5mm i.d., 0.07 ohm ni200 build. Plunked it on a few of my temp devices. My ipv3 Li read 0.075, my snow wolf read 0.077 and my sx mini reads 0.070. My trusty ohm checker read 0.069.
I screwed it on the stout and get a reading of 1.0. All with cold coil.
I can live with that. It's just that I wished it was a little more in line with my other devices. Hovering around a 0.03 difference is workable. On the stout I get a good smooth vape at 480 at 25 watts. A little higher temp than I expected but still was good. The sx mini cranked it at 480 @ 25 watts so I brought the sx down to 450 and it was petty close to the same vape. The snow wolf was a similar vape at 480 like the stout. I don't have any titanium or SS wire at this time so will continue to play with watts and temps on the nickel until I get some Ti and SS to play with.
So far, not bad!

Noticed a type-oh-no
I meant to type 0.10 on the stout not 1.0. My bad. It's vaping fine now that the coils breaking in a bit. Dropped the temp down to 450 and it's a nice, crackling, flavorful vape. I like the size so much I may be ordering the silver this weekend.

I was hoping that was a typo :)

They are nice in the hand and smaller than I thought looking at the pictures. I really like the look of the silver now that I'm seeing some pictures of them in this thread.

Ya, the black is stealthy but not flashy with the Matt finish. I really like it though. 2 days after I ordered, the silver were back in stock. Oh well! I still wanted an all black mod like this with minimal branding , so I'm happy.
Edit: forgot to mention battery life. I've been ripping on the stout all day since 7 a.m. and still have about a third capacity left. Going to take this new MNKE down till she won't go no more ;-).

I got a couple MNKE's from RTD. I used it most of yesterday and went through 2 tanks in the Serpent (about 8 mls) when I got the low batt message. I was hoping for more. The batts are new and usually work better after a couple cycles. I'm not an Efest fan but just ordered 2 of the green 4200's. Really not much out there for good 26650's. Mooch posted not to buy the MNKE's but I had ordered the day before his post.

I've got the Stout in and have had it for a week now, and have been using MNKE's vaping in Wattage mode with a Aromamizer with a dual .24g kanthal vertical setup at 0.35 @ 17W and I'm swapping the batteries at 2 tanks (thats 7lm). Unimpressed with the battery life, I was expecting more, but I hear from this thread it could be the MNKE's. Otherwise I'm getting good performance. Great little device. Just upgraded to the 2.0 firmware, hoping there is some battery tweak.

Do your MNKE's have a space between the two lines of text on the wrap or are the lines of text fairly close together?

There is a fairly large space...

Thanks! Unfortunately, those seem to be the poor performers. The more closely spaced ones are performing well, I think, for just about everyone who has them.

Sorry, should have added these photos before. Wide and narrow spaced versions.
