Mine showed up today. Immediately installed the 2.0 update and threw a known-good (and cold) Ti01 tank on it, locked resistance, and started vaping. Vape production compared to an ipv D2 or SX Mini M is not great, need to crank temps up over 520f to get close to what a Yihi board gives me at 450f, and even that tapers off quickly, about a second or two of good vaping before power is cut drastically, in my typical 4-5 second pulls. Same tank (Bellus, 26ga 2.0mm ID dual Unkamen titanium, 9 wraps each), once cooled down and locked on the D2 vaped like a dream again.
Same tank on a DNA40 Flask, set to 340f, vaped great too, so it's not all down to how Yihi handles power when the temp limit is reached. I'll dink around with the TCR settings later, maybe the default titanium TCR between the Yihis and the Stout is different, and I'll try downgrading to 1.1 if that doesn't help.
All three buttons are wobbly and very noisy in normal use, increasing to maraca-level rattle when shake-testing it. Hell, even Smok or Cloupor would be ashamed of rattle that bad. Nice metal buttons though.
Feels nice in the hand, and with an 18650 doesn't feel much heavier than my IPV D2 (and it's not much larger). And of course, it's lighter than my SX Mini M Class.
Battery door is slick, though the noise it makes when sitting it on a table is a bit disconcerting. 18650 adapter rattled like crazy (side to side a bit, and up and down a lot) until I wrapped some electrical tape around it to increase friction. Quiet now, and works fine. Still waiting on Mooch results before investing in 26650s, and I have a nice supply of 3000mAh LG and Samsung 18650s to tide me over.
Good news is, I won this in a giveaway, so I'm not at all upset, and I can see where a non-rattly, good vaping example would be a great mod. But had I dropped $90 on it, I reckon I would be upset, and working on a refund or replacement. FYI, it's a retail unit, not a sample.
