Vape Methods

How do you inhale?

  • Pull the vapor into my mouth much like a cigar then inhale it

  • Inhale while puffing to take the vapor straight into the lungs

Funny how the thought of doing that makes me cringe now that e-cigs have given me new powers.

E-cigs rule!!!:thumb:
Saw a Frazier rerun on the tube last night - the one where he has to help his agent stop smoking. In it she describes, in detail, just how much she loves the act of opening a new pack, pulling out the cig, lighting it, pulling the smoke into her lungs, holding it a few seconds....... I could still get into that! Brought back memories.

I take a big hit off my 510 kinda like I'm smoking a cigar (never actually smoked cigars just immitating what I've seen) I inhale a little.

but then- this is the good part...

The exhale- I don't blow the vape out fast like I did with an analog. I let the vape come out slowly and go up into my nose a little. I let it come out of my mouth slow and let all that flavor waift (sp?) past my pallet.

I can't believe it so much more enjoyable tasting than real cigs.

Regarding 'puff, puff, puff, inhale'

This method is only necessary with auto switch devices. No need to do this with a manual like the 510.

I agree. I'm puzzled when I hear 'less flavor from the 510' - I get great flavor with mine. It may be the too much puffing on the 510 - perhaps from people who were used to puffing on automatics - that kills the flavor for them. If you don't hang on the button, you don't kill the battery and you get good flavor and good vapor without the hotness with the 510, imo.

After playing with this some more today, I like to take it into my mouth then inhale for flavor. It tastes much better this way. But if I need a good hit so to speak, I will take it straight into my lungs. I think I found a nice combo that works for me. :)

It also appears that the Johnson Creek juices do not smoke as much and draw a little harder. Not sure if it is me or others have seen this as well.

My body won't even let me just inhale strait into my lungs.

Same here... I've been smoking off and on for 30 years, and didn't even know it was possible to inhale straight into one's lungs. I thought everyone had to "pause" -- inhale to mouth, mouth to lungs, exhale.

I tried to inhale straight into my lungs... don't work that way for me!
