Aside from having to go out in windy, 20 degree weather, to shovel the new snow, I have had a good day, Redd. When I came in, I did something that I rarely do, I had a shot of ginger brandy, to warm myself up. :D

I hope that you had a good day, Redd and where is our cute blonde? :)

I think you overfilled that glass, Redd. I'll just wipe it up and ring out the towel in another glass. :)

Hi Cactus, sounds like you had one terrific morning! I've mostly been inside today.........just a crazy, lazy day trying to focus on Kryptos.

Where on the Bosque did you see the beaver? I've never ever seen one there, would truly like to do so. Haven't seen a bald eagle here, either. I suspect Carol and I are staying in too narrow an area and need to branch out.

Yeah, it feels like spring has sprung. I've had quail and roadrunners in the backyard on a semi-regular basis now, and the coyotes are partying hard -- there will pups before you know it.

Hey Dan... yeah the lizards are already scampering about the mesa... too early for the little fellas I fear - haven't seen much in the way of food for them. As for the bosque, I like starting out at La Orillia and Coors (the that new-ish mega church there that has public parking and there's a walking bridge into the bosque (over the levy - and this is where I saw the beaver this time - seems he built a home under the bridge). From there you can go north or south as far as you'd like... under the trees or along the river.

Hello Redd, Sun, DanFromRioRancho, Jerry, great stuff! Kinda getting like spring around here at altitude, been a weird winter on and off, not much snow and if we don't get some heavy ones by spring, could be trouble! Hope you all had a good day and enjoy a great night!

Hey SD... my mother lives up in Littleton and I've heard it's been too mild up there as well. I certainly don't want the massive fires our states have been having this year as well. Great pics of your CO critters :)

Hi SD! Nice pics, I'm enjoying them.

Yuppers -- forest fires are scary, scary, scary. Closest I've actually been to one was a drive through Arizona, close to Flagstaff, on I-40. Stateys had partial roadblocks to meter the traffic through due to risk of the fire getting close enough to jump the road. Didn't like that.

So, you're at altitude. How far up where you live?

Yeah it's been a drag the last few summers here when the shutdown all access to the bosque, sandias, jemez, etc... basically leaving no places nearby to enjoy the outdoors.

Okay, not familiar with La Orillia and good-gosh-almighty there are a ton of churches in town! Can I get a Hallelujah! If I can't get a Hallelujah, maybe I can get a bracket on major crossroads so I can hit the maps. I'm on the Northern end of 528.
