Not for me, thank you. I have my espresso, pomegranite ejuice which is surprisingly awesome with espresso (maybe because it's a dry sweetness), clear skies, and a just a hint of warmth to the air. I'm a happy guy!

I know the Bay area, too. Lived in Martinez, commuted by BART to the city, walked to my office building on California Street right next to Chinatown until the office was moved to Walnut Creek (CEO lived in Walnut Creek, what a surprise.......).

I've moved a lot; kids always accused me of not being able to hold a job.

Thought about it a bit and came back to go on the record because someday someone wil be questioning when I respnd to a post with "I've lived there"......

Born, raised, first jobs in Cleveland, Oh
Relo'd to Lakeland, Fl
Then lived in Monroe, CT, commuted to work in Greenwich, Ct
Back to Lakeland, FL
Off to Denver, CO
South to Albuquerque, NM
"Go West young man!" to Martinez, CA, commuted to work in San Francisco, CA until office moved to Walnut Creek, CA
Put on my mucklucks, moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada for 5 long winters (hits -40, -55 or worse with windchill)
Retired to Rio Rancho, NM. Think I'm going to stay put........

Works out to a good tad above 10,000 miles in relocations.

With that, and since it's Monday with many of the brethren at work, a little something with music:

1 Mile High
Ha... what has happened? I used to be barefoot all-summer long, getting honeybee stings, picking up bumble bees, trekking miles to the pier to go fishing with stick and line (actually "caught" a small leopard shark that got got away), going crabbing in the bay, building shanty rafts to use in the creek, and building an awesome (by our standards at the time) tree-house under an old willow tree. Bites and stings be damned :)

Thats good cactus and fun being a kid, i got a million memories! Whats funny is, when I was trying to reply to your posts ecf cut out and i was unable to get back on, tried till after 3:30 am and gave up! All i got was this, 503 Service Unavailable! So if you wondered what happened? Did this happen to you too? :?: Didn't think the last one even posted but here I am and see it did? :)
