I'm going to head out to the LA Vapers meet in Glendora this Saturday. Starts at 1pm at the Clubhouse 66 Restaurant. Hopefully you guys can make it and we can all meet up.

Oh yeah, I keep forgetting about those! I doubt I'll be able to make it to this one, but I hope to go to one soon.

BTW, I went to Vape Revolution out in Cerritos the other day -- totally awesome! They were a little low on equipment because they recently ran out of some stock, but they still had some nice stuff, a great selection of juices with free samples, and couches to sit on and vape. I guess they're expanding into the next space to open up a full vape-bar too. Too bad it's such a trek from IE. Maybe they'll open one out here someday.

Oh yeah, I've heard of that place! :)

Yeeeeeah.... Totally worth it in my opinion, though. You made some nice purchases!

Hey, about that - Do you remember who Mike said made the device that I bought? Was it "Most Angry Pirate"? I have a couple questions about it but they've been kind of unresponsive getting back to me about it.

I wouldn't swear by it, but Most Angry Pirate sounds right to me.

hi everyone! my husband and I are brand new to vaping and would love to join a meet-up. we are in Riverside. a good possibility for being able to meet indoors is a coffee house on University called Back To The Grind... I'll try to go by there sometime soon and talk to the owner. they might just be independent and funky enough to be cool with it.

Alright, more Riverside vapers!!! I knew some more would surface. Yeah, I hadn't considered Back to the Grind, but that's a pretty decent coffee house. If they don't want us vaping upstairs, they also have (or had -- haven't been there in a while) that big downstairs area where they have the pool tables. Congrats on picking up vaping!

Looks like Ogredog and I are going to be meeting up Monday afternoon around 3:00 pm, and anyone else who would like to join up is more than welcome. I haven't located anywhere to vape indoors, but one of the Starbucks here (3311 Market St (at 3rd St), Riverside, CA 92501) has a nice, shaded, eastern-facing patio (does that work for you, Ogredog?). I'll gladly entertain other meet-up location options. If there aren't any better suggestions, I'll be there sitting outside sipping something cool and vaping. I hope to see you all there!

Greetings,

I was just at that location smoking an analog a week or so ago next to the planter a few feet from the sidewalk and a barista came out and told me that I was not allowed to smoke near the building. I chuckled at the absurdity of the request as I backed up two feet to the public sidewalk. I wonder if Starbucks' smoking policy extends to vaping as well.

In any case, I second my wife's suggestion for a Back to the Grind meetup. The owner is very laid back, the site is extremely spacious and very high ceilinged, and even if for some strange reason we couldn't do it indoors there is a sizable designated smoking area in the back.

They mentioned they went to the B&M to get set up and are sporting Riverside, CA in their location. I couldn't help myself, found them in the New Member forum so HAD to give them the link. I am sure they will benefit greatly from being able to see all the options available out there for juice without having to order blindly.

Since Riverside just had that big thing about banning e-cigs in Gov't buildings maybe your town is too "hot" for a meet, so if you venture away make sure it is towards me so I can save some gas when I finally make it out there  I know there are a lot of places over by the Bass Pro Shop. You have a Wingspot (sp) out there with a beautiful almost enclosed patio which might work if you can't find another place. Not sure if that is considered Riverside or not?

As far as Starbucks goes:

I can meet up again Monday or Tuesday between 9ish and 2 depending on how far the meetup is. Vs1 what city would be about halfway for you?

I live all the way on the OTHER side of Antelope Valley, in Quartz Hill so by the time I come off the 138 to the 15 it is about an hours drive. There really isn't anything out there that I know of. Then I come down that hill on the 15, and I have the choice of veering off at Devore or going towards the Bass Pro Shop, and I hope that makes sense! I could google it, but I am hoping you can follow by my description. That was why I was mentioning the huge shopping places by the Bass Pro Shop, I have driven by them enough times and a group of us once went to the Wing spot (I think that was the name) and they put us all on that patio in the back. I don't think we smoked on the patio, but it would be private and isolated enough that they may just let us.

I suppose that is that area LOL. I forgot about that. Gene did a solar plant in Adelanto and went to Victorville to find food so I will ask him if he has any ideas on a location in the Victorville area.

If no one is wanting to drive up that hill, maybe they could check out the spots I mentioned in whatever city it is where all those shopping places are by Bass. I don't think it is Riverside? Maybe Fontana?

I have more juices now, steeped even! And a few samples of some stuff I made and have tested the nicotine level on so won't kill anyone. :D

I just did the google directions. It seems that going to Victorville saves me a few miles, but forces you all to drive way out of your way. Are you familiar with the Wing place I was describing? Their patio sounds perfect. Plus beer and food should you so choose LOL.

I have YET to find a restaurant that didn't allow me to vape, but I didn't blow great clouds I more kept it to myself and acted natural not sneeky. Didn't hide it, didn't flaunt it. Although a meet might be very different with us all puffing and showing our stuff. I do not favor Starbucks, why go to a place that doesn't want us? Plus no food. Driving 160 - 200 miles round trip, it would be a bonus for me if we could find somewhere for lunch so I won't have to make another stop somewhere.
