Firefox is basically a multi platform browser. Dolphin is made for Android. I rate Firefox at about the same level as IE, it's bloated and slow on Android (and PC, where it, like every other browser, steals ideas from opera).
I'm a customization freak, so opera on the PC is a natural choice. On Android, you have to consider limited system resources and function...it's all about the most bang for the buck, as it were.
To each their own of course, the devices I use, how I use them and what I use them for won't be identical to anyone else, so it's up to you what you toss on your Droid... Which is what makes Android do great...options
