I've never used a metal tip of any kind, I don't have any fancy gear, and honestly, don't understand why I would want to use something other than the rubbery comfort tips. I'm sure I'm in a very small minority, I just haven't been vaping long enough to understand.

That's my menial input.

I'd love to be educated!!

Never menial.. Everything is great input. I can't do much with rubber, I have also been debating doing black/white Delrin(plastic) tips, maybe even machinable lexan or something similar.. Would that be more inline with what you are use to?

I love doing titanium, but if I can do a few other materials and make even more people happy then I'm game for it. So, keep the feedback coming... Tips from LEAD FREE naval brass, copper, Delrin, lexan.. Let me know your thoughts all...

I'm actually curious why, other than their obvious beauty (they are visually kick@$$) people want to use your tips. Please, please, please don't take that the wrong way! I want to know if there's a functionality difference between tips of different materials.

I definitely don't take it the wrong way!! Well I can't answer for everyone, but I can tell you why I choose to use other tips.. There isn't much as far as functionality.. I use titanium because (cp grade2) it is medical implant grade so I feel safe using it. I typically stay away from plastic because, frankly, I don't know if its one of the safe types. Same with brass mostly, I only trust it if I can see the materials data sheet and it says its 100% lead free. So function.. No real difference. Safety, call me a "crazy" but I'm doing this to be as healthy as possible.

Lastly.. To personalize.. Same reason a person picks a certain pair of earrings, or blazer for their outfit.. Or rims for a car.. Or even as simple as desktop wallpaper. Everyone likes a little flash to customize with and show off. Plus since these aren't mass produced, you'll never find an exact duplicate...

That's just my 2c.. But I'm a little bias ;)

why? because they are beautiful and functional. Stainless steel/ Titanium will last forever, wont crack, wont let bacteria etc get absorbed. You can boil them for disinfection. They add a touch of class, art, uniqueness. Stainless steel/Titanium cant melt or become damaged from certain juices that do affect plastic, acrylic and even some delrin. I think I covered it all.

I think there is definately a market for the brass/copper you mentioned. There are a lot of people that are getting solid brass and brass decorated PVs. Ive seen threads where people mention that there are not many places they can get lead free brass. How about 2 toned titanium/brass drip tips, or even stackable parts , small pieces that inter link to mix and match as wanted. I know there is one Modder out there that makes some and people are freaking out being able to get them. The shipping is almost as much as the tips are. If you need links so you can see what Im talking about let me know.

I love your tips and Im posting picts of them in every thread that is asking anything about drip tips and on facebook e-cig groups and they all love them.

Yes, I'm speaking of leaching.. I know HDPE and LDPE are known as " safe" so I use them for 10ml liquid bottles (due to short time exposure and unavailability of glass in that size), but I use glass for 30ml liquid. I know the plastics I'm using are categorized "safe" so I feel comfortableaking products from those plastics. What I don't know is the type of plastic a $4 tip blow molded tip from china is made of. Is it recycled plastic slag from other molds, is it polyvinyl, polystyrene, polycarbonate.. Etc.. etc..

I personally choose to use medical grade titanium tips (and atomizers) and that's what I wanted to bring to the market too;)

Thank you so much for the feedback!! I've been trying to develop a way to make exchangeable parts on drip tips but still do it at a decent price. Once you start threading things, it gets time consuming and expensive. I thought about doing it as a slip on, but I am concerned it would get lost easily. What are these other tips going for price wise? If I can't do it better or cheaper then I'm not doing anyone any good right?! Lol ;)

Either way I think I'm going to try out the lead free brass ones, maybe the copper.. And As always titanium.
