You're in an enclosed environment, people can smell it and see you doing it. And if you're hiding it, why? Because you don't want them seeing/smelling it? And if you don't want them seeing/smelling it, why are you trying your best to conceal it? Why can't you wait until you're outside. I'm not understanding the urgency to vape I guess. I have a friend who is constantly getting yelled at by his bosses about vaping at work, but he keeps doing it. Is vaping really that much more addictive than smoking cigarettes? Cause I never once snuck a cigarette indoors when I smoked. I don't know.. I must just have some kind of super willpower or something I guess but since I smoked for half my life I find that very unlikely.

Plenty of us have added substance to the conversation. You have simply chosen to ignore all of it.
1) Not vaping around other people
2) Stealth vaping(extremely subdued at most)
3) Holding Vapor until disipated

You insist constantly people are FORCING.
Are you there?
Do you see it happen?

No, you are making an assumption and continually repeating yourself.

Adding substance to a ridiculous conversation is akin to putting earrings on a pig. It's still a pig.

I'm just trying to understand why people insist on vaping in stores! Maybe I have a sensitive nose. I've had a temporary roommate because she came back to the country and had no place to live, and every time she cooks it irritates me. Maybe that's it? My friend vapes some cinnamon disgusting fireball type flavor and it grosses me out. It grosses everyone out actually. I can't imagine him being able to conceal that at all. And if he's blowing that around in a store, God help the customers.

Again you are assuming.
Again you insist someone is Forcing on another.
Again you assume this is an all the time thing - Puff puff Toot Toot.
Again you think you have the only right answers.

the reason they are passing all these bills is because they can.
it is because people believe they actually know how other people
are going to react and feel towards something they have never
been exposed to because everyone seems to think we should skulk
around the corner outside and hide from public view.
think of the chillin'.

Why do you type that way? I skip posts with that type of structure 90% of the time.

Just because you(or me, or anyone) don't like it, doesn't make it wrong.
Just because it annoys you, doesn't make it wrong.

I don't remember the last time I vaped indoors, other than my house, I don't do it often. Even if I never did it, I still wouldn't argue that others shouldn't, or that there should be a law against it. There should be a good reason for a law restricting someone's behavior. Someone's sense of etiquette is not a good reason for a law restricting someone's behavior.

Once you start accepting laws based on nothing, you've given up. You already have an indoor ban, was that because people were blowing clouds in walmart? It's been awhile since that law was passed, I'm pretty sure it was before the sub ohm setups got popular.

It's an easy stance to say hey everybody should do everything. But when the government is spending millions of our dollars on advertising campaigns against us, I think we should take a step back and evaluate how we can make sure we don't feed into the image being thrown at the general public.

What does the general public know about vaping? I won't assume, because you keep throwing that around at me like it's some sort of insult. So let's, the both of us now, assume that it's not a great deal. Most people ask me if I'm doing drugs, or tell me it's poisonous. And more dangerous than cigarettes. It's true. My girlfriends stepmother, she's closer to your age. She won't even let vape near her. So I don't. It's not a big deal to me. But my point is, if this is the majority, how in the world does vaping in stores help our cause? You talk a lot about forcing people, but you're forcing them to smell your vapor. Oh, that's right, you stealth vape. So you only condone stealth vaping, and agree with me on regular vaping and that people should consider other people's potential feelings on it? How stealthy must it be to be considered stealth enough? I don't just walk into my friends house and start vaping, and then say oh it's ok I stealthed it.

You can't walk around blowing vapor in every customers face and then be like ok now let me explain this to you. But what you can do is vape in view of them, and look like a person vaping in the middle of a freaking walmart.
You can vape openly, and if someone chooses to approach you, you can inform them. If they choose to engage in a conversation, perhaps you can educate them. Not you of course, since you don't seem to be aware of many of the facts of vaping, I mean the hypothetical "you."

But that only works with the people who are ok with it, and those aren't the people who you want to change their mind. The people that don't want you doing it near them, now you're forcing them to be uncomfortable, and then enter into an uncomfortable situation to request that you stop. And then what you're going to teach them all about vaping? They just don't want you doing it around them.

But your comfort is making people uncomfortable. The only reason their comfort could make you uncomfortable is because you're addicted to nicotine, which is only your fault.
There you go assuming again. Perhaps I don't use nic? Perhaps I have anxiety and vaping soothes me? Perhaps I'm dieting and vaping keeps me from tossing those cupcakes in my cart?

The truth is, I've never seen or heard a complaint from anyone who has actually experienced someone vaping in a store and been upset by it. All I have seen, including in places where there are serious ANTZ, has been hypothetical instances. Usually it's vapers who think voluntarily submitting to anti vaping restrictions will somehow keep us from having to submit to anti vaping restrictions.

I have anxiety, and I'm addicted to nicotine, but I refuse to push my problems onto others. Personally, when I smoked, I hated being around vapers because all I knew was, they were exhaling something that smelled nasty. It still bothers me when I have to smell cinnamon or bad tobacco flavored vapor when I go into vape shops or I'm at Walmart and someone feels like making me uncomfortable for their comfort.

Reading through the responses in this thread...makes me side with the recent bill that just passed in CA; vaping to be treated as a tobacco product. It limits its use to assigned areas than "I'll do it wherever the hell I want to disregarding your private space, their private space, and everyone else's because it's not smoking so it's not illegal."

Our future is doomed...
