I work at Walmart. I read the policy recently, electronic cigarettes are considered tobacco products by Walmart, with the same rules. The greeter decided to tell you that because he was doing his job. Store managers aren't always in the know, and customer soothing is on the top of their priority listAnyone ever have any issues with vaping at a walmart?
After just buying my eleaf i decided I was going to vape it at walmart like I have several times over. This time how ever the greeter guy decided to tell me that i wasn't allowed to use the device in the store as I walked out to grab my wallet from in my car. Talking to the store manager however, He said there was nothing in the store polices about vaping and I could do so as I wished. No one ever said a word to me when I had my Spinner or my Vamo, but now that I actually have a box people start speaking up.
You
You're talking
like this
it doesn't make any
sense
It's just really annoying
Why do you do that?
I worm at Walmart.
It looks a bit like poetry,
Except it doesn't rhyme,
Most of the tyme.
Hey did you see that.
My God I'm a Poet,
And I never even knowed it.
If you think that's all the recent bill(group of bills) that just passed out of a committee does, you're in for a surprise.
Cereal ISLEAs a smoker I would just send someone else.
As a vaper I enjoy the cereal lounge.
Tapatyped
ISLEThe cereal Island has historically been known to be the best spot at the Walmarts to blow clouds. You should try there...
You're projecting this conversation into an alternate reality.No. I don't think that's all that the recent bill does. But if ONE of those would protect my privacy, protect my personal space, and preserve my personal choice of not being clouded, and not to be forced to breathe second hand vapor of flavors like cheesecake, peanut butter, cactus cooler, red vines, etc., then I will surely support a bill as such because of the replies and responses to this thread, like "I'll vape where I want to because it's not illegal" does not protect my privacy, protect my personal space, and preserve my personal choice.
These are the six bills introduced in the recent special session in CA:
(some of these bills I don't approve of, but...)
- SB 5 & AB 6, regulating electronic cigarettes to meet existing tobacco laws;
- SB 6 & AB 7, adding hotel lobbies, small businesses, break rooms and tobacco retailers to the list of smoke-free workplaces;
- SB 7 & AB 8, changing the legal smoking age from 18 to 21;
- SB 8 & AB 9, requiring schools to be tobacco-free;
- SB 9 & AB 10, allowing local jurisdictions to tax tobacco; and
- SB 10 & AB 11, creating an annual Board of Equalization tobacco licensing fee program
Aren't there times where you just don't want to vape in there because it's just not appropriate?
Isn't there a time where you just want to eat peacefully at a restaurant and not have a cloud of vapor in your face when taking a bite?
Are there not moments where you just want to walk through aisles at the supermarket not worrying about ducking and weaving through clouds of peanut butter or custard flavored vapor?
I think this, "it's my right to vape wherever and whenever I want to" is getting out of hand. Common etiquette is nonexistent.

This is true. One day after I vehemently complained about the price of their Scotts fertilizer, I got a prostate massage from Ulga the Ukrainian girl working in the yard department. She could have taken off the Mechanix gloves first but still it was nice.
You too? You got lucky. My masseuse was wearing those BBQ King oven mitts. It was awful.This is true.
