this thread is about the "joy" mechanism of the brain, in context of "how often should I vape"?
when ever you have a "need" for somthing, and you satisfy that need ,your brain feels joy.
need for food? eat food? joy!
need for W.C? voiding? joy!
etc...
that's the reason for smoking.
smokers/vapors create a nicotine addiction, that means we create a new "need" for the body, that was not there before ,thus we can have a novel satisfaction process.
that's why non smokers cant understand the urge for nic, since the don't have the need for it.
another fact about satisfaction is, the more you wait for it-the better it gets.
when you are extremely thirsty, even plain tap water will have the most sweetest and satisfying taste...
because as ex smokers, we were used to have a cigarette every hour or so, and having being limited by smoking laws to smoke where we pleased, we had a great satisfaction from cigarettes.
thus, we had to wait for smoking, and that action intensified the smoking urge even more.
another intensifier for smoking, is the bad taste it has, since their is a fine tuning mechanism for "how much I want to smoke" VS "how bad my mouth tastes"... it is very common to finish a cig ,and feeling disgust in the mouth, thus causing another lingering factor until you smoke again.
vaping "solves" most of this issues, thus causing many to "chain vape", until the reach a point where vaping doesn't satisfy you like analogs did, and thus craving to go back to analogs.
other problem with chain vaping, is that you increase the total nicotine intake, and becoming more and more inert to nicotine dosage, that makes those cravings for analogs even worse.
so if you feel that urge, you can follow one of the next steps to solve it:
1- have breaks between your vapes, just like you would have had if it was an analog.
doing so might mean you will need to increase you nic level, since you vape less.
2-chain vape 0 nic level. and have your nic juice when you need it.
following those steps, will create a greater nic fluctuations in your body, leading to a much more enjoyable vaping, less analog cravings and even lower nicotine intake.
