Day two and a half of vaping right now as an adult who has never smoked in his life. I went with the eGo starter kit and a Kanger protank. You'd want a starter kit that comes with two batteries ('rule of two' says you need at least two of everything in case one breaks), and that'll give you two batteries and two CE4 clearomizers (depending on where you get it). You may want to go ahead and buy an extra charger as well. Either way without the Kanger you're looking at $40ish on eBay or anywhere else, cheaper if you don't mind a month shipping from Canada. Add another $15-20 for the Kanger and you're all set for hardware.

For juice I've heard good things about Vapedudes. I ordered my first kit from there and used the fbfree coupon code which gave me free shipping and one of my 10ml bottles for free, so I paid about $6 for 20ml of liquid. It's an initial price of course, so I'd pay a bit more the next time probably since I don't think I can reuse the code (and doing so would be kinda rude, since they're just a few cool guys trying to run a business while giving people a break when starting).

Since my wife and I didn't wan to wait for our eGo's to arrive in the mail later today, we went to a store that sold the kits locally and paid slightly more (about $60 for our starter kit, + $20 for a kanger since I like the design a lot, and $20 for three bottles of juice). The local shop (Premium Vapors) gave us a 5% discount for paying in cash so it pretty much wiped out sales tax. I've noticed pretty much all the vaping businesses seem pretty nice so far and willing to do what they can to earn your business.

So to sum up, basically if I were you (and had decided to go for vaping), I'd go to ebay and buy an 'eGo starter kit' from a seller that has good feedback - we got the eGo T but it's up to you which one to buy and I don't really know the difference yet. The kit should have two of the black 'battery' parts with the buttons and then two 'clearomizers' which are basically the top part that holds the atomizer, tank and mouthpiece all together - so assembled you just have two parts to worry about. Then I'd go to vapedudes or any of the other awesome juice places and buy at least two of the 0mg juices at 50/50 pg/vg strength (you can learn about the differences of those later, but for now I don't want to overwhelm you with info because there is a LOT of it regarding vaping).

So that would run you probably $40 for the starter kit or less, and $20 or less for a few 10mg bottles of juice. While you're waiting for them to show up, read up as much as you can so that you'll be able to jump into it knowing the risks and rewards as well as the technical ins and outs of the whole process. And of course feel free to ask anyone here if you need any help or have any questions!
