Not sure what my eyeballs have to do with this, but If you can stealth vape without anyone noticing (and I'm talking about smell) good for you. Myself (and my partner for that matter, who is not a smoker or vaper) always know when someone is doing it. We can always smell it.
You have a remarkable nose, would put a bloodhound to shame, if you can oh so smell invisible stealth vapor.

Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there. Ever smelled ozone? farts? H2S? Oh, and perfume/deodorant? Anyway, you are probably right that I can't smell it all the time. After all, If I don't notice it I also don't know if someone is doing it. Maybe you are very good at stealth vaping, but not everyone is. All I'm saying is that there are many instances when I can smell it.

Edit: Bad breath, stinky feet, in general body odor. Since I work I a laboratory: 2-mercaptoethanol, phenol, ethanol... should I keep going with things you can smell but not see? I have a few more...

Still trying to work out where I stand with this, but more often than not I find myself trying to avoid vaping in front of people. Only exceptions thus far include people I know. At work, after we're closed but still cleaning up, I vape and definitely at my house. Also, my boyfriends parents and mine are just happy we're not smoking anymore so they don't care if we vape inside.

Oh I see, it's not the vapor that you're against, it's the chance of a slight scent.

Some people cringe when they see the vapor floating around for a few seconds/1 minute and complain that they're being forced to breathe it in. What surprises me to no end is the fact that even when we're breathing normally our breath is being inhaled by those around us, except we don't see it. If someone has a virus, chances are we're going to catch it if our immune system is down. But, some wear a badge of honor when they have the flu and go to work anyway thereby spreading the "germs" around.

I'm thankful I'm retired and no longer exposed to others' poor decisions of going to work when sick. I'm going to sit here now and ponder my good fortune while I vape away...

Fresh from the directors office at RWJ foundation. I'm not impressed.

You read it? I'll save you the trouble of typing that, because I know the answer already.

The thing about the scientific process is things are either correct, or they aren't. You can tell. That's why it's rather clever.

It has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with who funded or authored any given study or report.

So, do you really want to play this game? Shall we start looking at CASAAs links to the tobacco industry?

Or perhaps you'd like me to point you to some other studies or reports? Given that literally every scientific institution in the entire world agrees? Are they all part of the conspiracy?

My policy is: if it makes someone uncomfortable and they tell me so, I'll vape somewhere else. No biggie, just not worth the trouble. Doesn't matter if it "doesn't make sense," my job is not to educate non-vapers about what I'm doing. Maybe if you are cool/chill about it, they'll respect you more and actually ask about vaping. Maybe not.

I will say, though, times are changing. In chicago, every time I leave the house I see at least one person taking a vape on the streets. And not just the egos either: mech mods, etc. They're really becoming pretty mainstream.

If a big tobacco ceo director took a chair in CASAA, you just might have a case. But they didn't, & you don't. Big Pharma taking on roles in the lives of Americans, now, that IS a case.

Are people actually saying the second hand smoke from a cigarette isn't bad for you?

Have you ever exhaled tobacco smoke through a piece of toilet paper? We did this years ago and there are videos of people doing it online. That second hand smoke turns the paper a nasty color, its not pretty. Look at the walls/ceiling in a smokers home, stained yellow. That is not just from whats burning off the end of the cigarette.

We don't need studies to prove what we can clearly see for ourselves. People need more common sense and less studies and stats, they are helpful but sometimes cause us to miss the forest for the trees imo.

And because of people like you, vaping will ultimately end up being either illegal or regulated by prescription. It just blows my mind that people compare vaping to cigarettes... Heck, I don't even like calling then e-cigs... There is ONLY one thing in common and that is nicotine... That's it! You cannot argue with that as it is fact! Did you know that potatoes have nicotine? Yeah, it does. So do many other vegetables and plants that we consume on a daily basis. The average human consumes more nicotine through these vegetables and plants then anyone could ever possibly get from "second hand" vapor! The ignorance of these facts are just straight up ludicrous. Anything that could possibly be even remotely harmful would be about impossible to transfer second hand. You get worse things from the exhaust of a car driving by... Ban cars! Only drive on highways and push the car through town or near houses! Come on...

Logical thinking these days is just so damn rare...

Why woud it be illegal or regulated if we are told to vape in designated areas? So it's because people like me, who abide by the host's rule make vaping illegal? That's funny. Do you like vaping in front of children whose minds are still developing? Hey if you need your nic fix bro just eat vegetables like you said.

Everything I said you completely missed... let me sum it up (already did it but I guess you didn't view my other posts)...

1. Where I'm from we don't have anything regulating where it can be done (they are trying to but hopefully not because they are trying to ban it in all public buildings including vape shops...!!!!)

2. When I say I don't care if it bothers people... I don't mean someone with authority (a "host") like management or similar... I was refering to some regular joe/jane that is "bothered" by it. You don't leave the store (that is stupid) you just walk away and vape away from them. Simple. If management or similar asks me to stop... I stop or leave.... simple.

3. I vape in front of children. I personally believe that if you shield your child from the world they will be more inclined on trying bad stuff and being more influenced. If you show yourself being truthful and explaining the world how and why it is... then you are a better parent for it. I was raised watching movies/games/etc on horror, blood and gore, violence, death, sex, drugs, etc... and have grown into a fairly successful man with a good life not doing drugs and never have I been inclined to violence or murder. It is the environment that you are raised in WITH proper guidance. A kid in the slums can either fall victim to society or grow past it... it is all prominently factored by GUIDANCE.

4. I was refering to second hand vapor... not nicotine from direct inhalation. I don't know how you misconstrued that...
