Decided to go shopping today....Walmart wound up on the list and the closest so we stopped there first...I vaped from the front entrance to the back of the store in the electronics section before one of their security guards walked over and told me to step back to the customer service desk with him(he didnt say what for...but I knew :) ).

The store manager was waiting there tapping his foot......after about a 30 second explanation, a 20 second demonstration where I blew it into his face(wasnt sure how that was going to go over) and 5 minutes of talking about it...he said it was great and welcomes it...He said he wanted to give it a go so I gave him this site address, and a few of the suppliers here that I could remember.

Kind of thought my goose was cooked at first...but once caught...you can go out like a pansy or with a bang. Ive always been an attention hog so "Bang" it always is.

wow very nice and lucky i must say.. although i the thought of walmart carrying e-cigs scares me.. They could buy in a such a huge amount that it would drives the sellers we currently have into a panic.. not that this will happen or happen soon.. walmart is a great store to buy things but a crappy store to the mom and pop stores trying to make a buck. i honestly would hope i never run into a store that is carrying e-cigs.. prices will go up.. comptetion will get tough..

He meant more along the lines of him switching from his marlboro menthols to an ecig. Not walmart carrying e-cigs.

Seems to me though that if electronic cigarettes did go mainstream in store like this, prices would remain the same for most of us as I personally would continue buying from the suppliers here. Be higher for those buying "name brand" or ones that are sold in stores.

The convenience, however, of being able to drive a couple miles and pick up a new atomizer or battery if you have an equipment emergency. Who knows, good chance of one of our favorites here could get a contract to supply one of the big chains .

I am sorry I don`t think that was a very clever thing to do.

I personally think it would be polite to ask staff before you vape.

While the manager in this store turned ot to like it, there will be others who are not happy with you just assuming you can vape where you like.

When you could smoke any where, it would not have occured to me to light up in a supermarket or superstore so why start vaping in them.

I've vaped in walmart a dozen times (since it's my home away from home...lol). One of the points to esmoking is to be able to get your fix when/where you couldn't otherwise smoke, isn't it? Not vape in stores, especially when you're going to be in there for quite a while? That doesn't make any sense to me. People are talking about smoking on airplanes, while sitting right next to someone else. It kills the cravings. Isn't that the point?

I think it really comes down to .. to vap or not to vap.. so you really need to vap in a store.. are you really craving the nicotine at that time? or would the user be doing it for a reaction instead.. I used to smoke almost 2 packs a day and could go shopping without craving a smoke.. so going a store and needing to vap just doesnt make sense to me..

Target already is already carrying NJOY - at least target.com is. This has me worried enough. What's next? Wal-Mart carrying some other BS brand?

OTOH, it would probably be tough as sh*t for our back-asswards government to stop Wal-Mart from doing anything...:p

When I smoked almost 3 packs a day, an hour in walmart was hell! With vapin', I don't have to worry about that. Makes sense to me!

I was a 2 pack a day smoker as of this morning. I would say I was definitely craving...as I always am...but ill also admit it was also for a bit of reaction. If noone tests the boundaries...then how do you expect the public to gain knowledge about our way to continue our habit in a healthier way for both myself and those around me.

I havent had a smoke since 11am this morning and I am proud of that...havent gone this long in about 10 years and I still have no serious craving for it.

The big difference between smoking and vaping is there is no smoke or ask to damage things, stink, or cause a mess.

No laws were broken, No feelings hurt, but one person might quit smoking analogs and move into the digital age of smoking. So what evil came of it?

Vaping in wally world...I've always wanted to try it...but I don't think I will at the one here in town. I worked there for a year right out of high school and my rebellious youth self didn't quite fit in there, and I left on a little less than amicable terms...to put it mildly they hate me to this day...and I think they would probably throw me out or call the cops no matter what I told them about esmoking. It would be funny to see the look on the manager's faces though. My mom works there still though...so I have a feeling if I did something to rile them up it would come back on her...so no.

Yes this is my Wife to be in this picture. May 9th is the date..
and i have her posted for two reasons.. people just seem to like this picture, and it has my name on it!! What better way to sell yourself then on a woman's chest.... ( i meant that in a polite way ) Infact i have had people ask if they can have a shirt made for them of this.. just says i love chris ray.. yet they want to where it..

I don't think we have anything to worry about with Walmart selling ecigs. Their attitude toward real cigs is killer. They charge twice what the convenience stores do and make no apologies for it. They come right out and tell you they don't want to carry cigs at all, they don't like selling them. When it comes to this they are so closed minded, they will never learn enough about ecigs to want to sell them. Target, on the other hand. We will now have lots of people buying these Njoy ecigs and getting no "tech support". What kind of impression will that leave?

Haha so true, I think it would be a life-saver for all of us, Wal Mart probably has more political influence than the tobacco and pharm industries, though I would still order from Steve cause he puts "thanks bud!" in his e-mails and it makes me feel like I have friends.

I smoked daily in class, at the library, at work, in stores, etc without anyone even noticing. I feel no need to "ask permission" to use my device since it isn't illegal, doesn't smell, has almost 0 chance of even reaching a bystander unless I blow it directly at them, and the small amount of exhaled vapor has safer ingredients than the gas escaping their backsides, and if anyone wants to complain simply because it "looks like" I'm smoking I will gladly give them the same response I got to my protests when told that smoking is no longer allowed (even outdoors!) on hospital or city property... "Get over it"
