I really like the flavors I am making but when I gave a couple of my friends to try, one said Turkish Blended @ 7% tasted like soap and air-freshener  I guess people have very different tastes. Tobaccos are not my favorite, but I can taste them and they are decent vapes, just not ADV for me. Does anyone have this kind of experience when they give their DIY flavors to other people to try?

I make a lot of DIY for friends using the VZ SC flavors .. they all love it and they prefer my DIY to the vendor juices they've tried. That said I only make them at 2.5%, not 7% and I have not used the Turkish Blended flavor. My friends love the Black&Mild, the Honey Flue and a mixture I do of the Caramel Candy + the Cream.

Turkish Blended is one of the Hangsen flavors, so recommended % is between 5% and 10%, (most people here I see use it at 7%). I really like HFC, probably my favorite tobacco, and Island tobacco is also great.

oh .. one of the Hangsen's .. I haven't tried any of those yet, but was getting ready to order some. I do know they recommend 5-10% on the Hangsen, weird that yours isn't great at 7% because that's the % I planned to mix mine at,

I like it, and I think tobacco lovers will love it, as many have, but it seems some people have very different palates.

About 4 days, it tastes like a decent tobacco to me. I don't know if there should be a big difference after that much time and 2 weeks, considering that I did a lot of shaking and warm water baths.
Ahh... Hangsen flavors have a ridiculously long steeping time. They don't come to life until a week. Then in 2 weeks the notes start to blend. Then it's full potential is around 30 days. It's well worth the wait.

Everyone keeps asking about Strawberry SC and I've been hunting for reviews for the last week while I messed with it myself. I don't like it at all. All the other fruits I've gotten excellent results, max 3.5%. The Strawberry I started it out at 2.5 and have been working my way up, at 6% I can finally taste it, but it's still weak, and I don't particularly like the type of flavor, it's more like one of those hard candies that come wrapped up looking like a strawberry, even if I could taste it clearly I would still rather have a Strawberry that tastes like a fresh strawberry. I have mixed it with EM and lemon juice, can't come up with anything usable. Any recommendations on a good strawberry? How is the Flavor West?

Nice to see you ToweKnee :) Where the heck you been hiding??

Bro I have been working so much I hardly have time to think lol. Moments I have free time I try to spend it with my son as much as possible.

Ill second Jimi saying Hangsen need a huge amount of steeping time. I use only the RY4 but it has to sit at LEAST a week to get an idea what the flavor is about. Month this stuff rocks! I got a 60mil bottle I just made on the 3rd and it will sit until the end of the month.

I really considering some of the Flavor West stuff but I need to do some research on them here before I do.

I made up a 30ml bottle of the Hangsen DK Blended about 2 weeks ago. I love it. I have been a DK Tab fan for a long time, and this is the first flavor that I have found that even comes close. It is ok a couple of days out, but is now beginning to really shine at two weeks. Good Stuff.
The Hangsen's are wonderful flavors. Just wait until 2 more weeks. Then BOOM!!! Flavor City!!

I have to say that me and my buddy have been playing with VZ flavors for the past month now. We have tried, over the past year of DIY, to make quality tobacco blends we can Vape everyday all day. We started with some of the more popular flavoring companies on ECF and I really despise almost everything I have mixed. So much trial and error and have never come up with something I enjoy. I stumbled across this thread a while back and we pulled the trigger on VZ. We are three orders of flavoring in from VZ and just WOW. I now have something to enjoy with vaping again. I was so worried I would have to go back to dropping $17 on a 30ml bottle of juice and getting to the point where I wouldnt be able to afford vaping anymore. You guys are a wealth of knowledge with these flavors. Just saying thanks to the posters here for helping me find that sweet spot again.

What's everybody vaping on lately? I just mixed up a vanilla honey flu myself and it's great. Was Gunna let it steep but it smelled too good. Tomorrow the tobac will prolly pop a bit more and I look forward to it. For a batch on my own RY4 sitting and it smells terrific as well. Used virginia flu, the vanilla and a bit of the Capella caramel.
