I've had the fasttech Vapor Flask v2 (DNA30) clone for over a month now, using it with a kayfun 4 @ 0.7ohm firing at 25W. Usually it used right around 4.2V (according to the display). In the last week or so, I've noticed a performance decrease. And even at 25W, the voltage wouldn't go above 2.8. After trying a few different builds, I put the Kayfun back on my 4nine and everything was good again. The problem definitely is in the Flask somewhere. I've been using a brand new pair of LG HE2's but just ordered some new batteries (VTC4s from Lightning Vapes) in hopes that may help. Anybody have any other ideas?

Clean the 510 connections on your K4 and your VF, along with the battery caps and threads, and make sure there's no anodizing on the battery threads. Double check your K4's resistance on another device/tester, and check the 510 screw. And pay attention to the contact spring between the base and the airflow control, that's a pretty common source of trouble with both real and clone K4s.

Pretty unusual for a DNA clone board to degrade, it's usually working, or not working, with nothing in between. Also doubt your new HE2's are bad unless they're counterfeit. Suspect it's a connection issue, either with the contacts, or with internal wiring. You can also easily pop the top cover off the VF and check to make sure the leads are still tight (do this with the batteries removed!).
