Just sold my Flask. Honestly, I liked the Temperature Control function but it isn't enough to keep me in it. I've been looking at the ipv Mini 2 70w since it came out and just put my order in for that.

I wanted to thank you guys for answering my questions in my short stay in this thread. I really appreciate it!

Hey, small world :D thanks for selling it, I can't wait to get my hands on it :w00t:

To summarize:

The models with the adjustable pin and copper/brass 510 plate have the (better?) Kangxin boards. Issues with the loose adjustable 510 pin and potentially wearing issues on the copper/brass 510 plate. Shipping delayed due to stock availability.

The models with the non-adjustable pin and the more resilient SS 510 plate have newer (not so good?) board. But are shipping much faster.

Have I got this right?

Sonicbomb,

Not so sure anyone has gotten their hands on the VF with the non-adjustable pin just yet, at least I haven't seen anyone review it yet. So I can't comment on the board being better or worse than the VF with the adjustable pin (KXD40 board). We have had ours for the good part of 3 weeks now and the only issue we have at this moment with ours is the bottom button pushing into the case. I have a email into 3Fvape and they told me they will have a answer and solution from the vendor by Monday, so will see how they handle this.

Hope that helps you a little,

Luke

I think it was Gina who told TPat, that its the same boards. However, Kate is saying that its a different board.

My non adjustable version just got dispatched, so I hope to be able to do a first impressions in a couple of weeks.

Starting to hear on other forums that a couple of guys just received their Kangxins w/ brass 510 and the units are working for a short time and then going dark - no screen, no power or fire. They shipped on 3/6.

Sounds like there may be some qc issues with the supplemental manufacturing source employed to keep up with demand.

Finally got my 3fvape silver 1659 VF clone delivered about 2 hours ago so far it works just as described, in fact it works better than my authentic DNA40's, no screen glitches what so ever TP works just like it's supposed to.
Quality of construction is impeccable, I guess time will tell, but so far I genuinely impressed.

Tpat,

How on Earth did anyone get a China order in a little over a week. The units may not work but the shipping is incredibly fast. "Just saying"

They were Kangxins from 3FVape, not the new model. Prior to CNY shipping out of 3FVape was averaging 7 to 11 days to the states to your door.
