The 3100 mah Efest's is an excellent choice with dual 18650's in the Flask....IMO

I agree. I get up every morning around 9, and start vaping. At midnight-ish when I go to bed, it's about half power, so I plug it in, sleep 8 hours, and it's fully charged in the morning. My Vaporshark gives up the ghost after about 8-9 hours.

Even w/o TP I think the vapor flask architecture is the best 2 x 18650 to come down the pike. That alone is a heavy enticement for me. I would opt for a non TP VF, but if I can have reliable TP added to the mix for almost the same price- why not? I'm still waiting but it's looking like there may be one pulling ahead. :vapor:

After promises to ship out my silver Kangxin VF3 clone with USB (same as 1659/1660 from 3FV) for two weeks and still no inventory received by Focalecig yet, I decided to cancel the order.

So what is now the VF clone to get? - the version with the stainless steel 510 ?

also, is there really now a Chinese clone with a genuine Evolv DNA40 board as was hinted about in an earlier post?

what is the consensus favorite VF clone model, and place to order as of March 31? (link please)

I just ordered what is needed to make mine a bottom feeder from FatDaddy's, it's getting deeper. I'm the kind of guy that would cut a real nice hole for sqonking the bottle but on the wrong side...LOL. I'll look at that more than a couple times before I cut it out.

So here is what I ordered:
Description Unit price Qty Amount
510 V3 Connectors
Item# V3SHORTBODYONLY , OPTIONS:: V3 Short Body Set (No Washer) $4.99 USD 1 $4.99 USD
510 V3 Connectors
Item# V3SMWASHER , OPTIONS:: V3 22mm Washer $1.00 USD 1 $1.00 USD
Bottom Feeder Bottle Attachment Set
Item# BFNEEDLES $5.99 USD 1 $5.99 USD
510 V3 Connectors
Item# V3SHORTBFPIN-5PK , OPTIONS:: V3 Short Bottom Feeder Pin 5-Pack $3.99 USD 1 $3.99 USD
Subtotal $15.97 USD
Shipping and handling $4.57 USD
Total $20.54 USD
Payment $20.54 USD

Woohoo!

So that means they shipped it 25 hours after I ordered it! For a UK vendor that'd be a little slow, but I am extremely pleasantly surprised that 3F were that fast, especially as they didn't list it in their "24 hour shipping" category.

I got the shipping tracking number a few minutes later. Now of course the real challenge begins - will it go smoothly through customs? Will it even reach this country in a decent amount of time? Will it bounce back and forth between Luxembourg and Switzerland for no apparent reason?

Oh the fun of international shipping! (frankly, even national shipping is usually bad enough.)

Still, for the moment at least, I'm happy :2cool:

Turnbuckles work well. They have both right and left handed threads in them. You can just throw out the center section.
Turnbuckles are those threaded devices used to pull two wires tight. Often used to square up sagging screen doors. I'm sure you have them in Portugal.

Rarely found in fine threaded condition though. Guess it doesn't matter after you squeeze them together so I can accept it could work.

This thread is moving fast! :)

I found a turnbuckle. Just had to go to a RC Hobby Shop. They guy didn't had any new ones in stock but removed an adjustable M3 link from a Traxxa Truck and sold it for a buck to me :D

Coils are now coming out great. Thx for the tip ;)

It's advertised as having TC though, even if the voltage region of 4-11 is weird.

Check this out...

FOGGER 5.0 , Mini fogger , DNZ 30, ZNA 30 ,VAPOR FLASK, ecigs,electronic cigarettes,electronic cigs,electronic cigarette,wholesale ecigs,ecigs suppliers,ecigs manufacturer,electronic ,cigarettes manufacturer,Fogger ,fogger 4.0,kayfun lite plus, kayfu

no mention of TC control in the specs, just in the page title. If the 4V minimum is true, this can't have TC. Minimum coil resistance 0.2 ohms?? The V2 version is absolutely not TC. Something is a bit odd!

Re FT 2227100 (https://www.fasttech.com/products/0...r-flask-v3-styled-50w-vw-variable-wattage-apv)
I think what is up here is they listed the details of the earlier model, the picture showing 1 watt as well as temp setting just doesn't jive with the specs listed.
I would guess that it has TP but I think I would hold off buying one till it gets straighten out. It looks pretty nice if it is ni200 capable.
Note the adjustable stainless steel 510, something the older model is lacking.
Also I figure that it is 40 watts and not the advertised 50 watts.

I think you must be right! As I said earlier, I know of one on-line retailer in uk who advertised these initially but now it looks like they have ripped out the guts and replaced with an evolv board (and added £50 to the price). I guess we will see. As you say, it does look like a nice unit if it all shakes out ok!

Mine shipped on the 15th, tracking said it left Beijing on 17th and it has still not arrived to me in Australia and it will be the 1st in an hour or so, i picked the express option $4 extra I think it was. I have no idea where it is but I've been hearing it can take up to 2 - 3 weeks, though Fasttech stuff via epacket usually gets to me in 7-10 days.

OK thanks for letting me know.

I have no idea how China to Australia compares to China to UK for shipping time. But I wouldn't be surprised if it's 2 - 3 weeks for most places in the world.

I'll remain quietly hopeful, of course - already been pleasantly surprised once!

So, it looks like there's a version 4 out. I found it on DHgate. they claim it's 40 watt temp controlled with a stainless steel, brass "floating" 510 pin :)

I'm in the process of confirming this... I also asked about the chip. if it's what they claim and the chip is solid it might be the one to get.... I would have posted a link but I'm on my phone and it's a pita, sorry. but, if you search "vapor flask v4" and go to the dhgate link you'll find it. $86 US, free shipping to the US and Canada :)
