Thanks...so where is the place to buy in Asia? People seem to be talking about specific model numbers.
3FVape, Kangxin #1659 through #1662 (silver, black, red, blue).
The alternative models 2806 and 2834 from 3FVape in silver and black are really tempting because of the closer to 1:1 exterior with brushed finish and different buttons, and according to 3FVape they're using the same board inside as the Kangxin, but as mentioned a few dozen times in the thread, the 510 connector is totally non-adjustable.
Croak, you sure about the same board? This is a email I got from Kate on March 4th, I'm still in contact with 3fvape on our VF with the button issue. So I might ask her again in our next email.
1. This product come with another factory with a similar chip as KXD40
2. The 510 connection is a fixed connection.
thanks
Kate
When all the eCig stuff is made in one city I would be willing to bet you can't tell for sure just by looks. I would also suggest if the guy down the street makes all the Flask cases and two or three doors down are to different folks making boards and two or three door farther down a couple of different folks make 510 connectors it is a crap-shoot when it comes to the difference between two so similar devices especially while the demand is so extreme.

New video with some testing on the non-usb vapor flask clone. Unfortunately, I can't understand a word of what this guy is saying.

Temperature limiting testing at the 25 min mark.
Voltage/Power testing at 16.45
The flask seems to fail a little, but again not sure what's going on. My impression is the reviewer is happy with the product, but who really knows!
Last thing I would want in w/a TP mod is a spring loaded 510. Personally, the only adjustable 510 I would be interested in is one that screwed in/out w/LH threads. Anything else will be a guess for fit and/or conductivity.
I think it depends of the spring loaded pin design. Some might be better, some might be worse. I have one here that is massive even compared to the OCD one and I did a bunch of tests with my erlp nano and that thing is rock solid as the atty compresses the pin almost 2mm inward. I just didn't test it under TC yet because my damn enclosure is still stuck in customs (for two weeks now)...I'm with you on this and also think the LR threading would be best. LR does though carry with it it's own problems though mainly user error and finding a replacement.
I'm good with LH or RH. If one was using Kanthal/ Nichrome only the spring loaded would be just fine. Solid can be good if it is truly that way(not with Ego grommet)
