Will do mate. For now, it's a copper 510/batt covers version which is a bit of a bummer but I'm ok with it. Finish looks pretty good. Just can't believe it is actually here! Cool!

Hope it works. I'll try to have a play tonight but it might be tomorrow!

That was my MO!! Tracking info update stopped at Beijing airport 4 days ago so I thought it was delayed somewhere. Then it just turned up this morning. Still in Beijing according to tracking!

It's fraud if it's being sold as authentic at the same price point as the original - it's purely counterfeit at that stage.
If it's being sold as a clone for a third of the price then there's no fraud involved - if there's no patent on the device then it's not even illegal.

If this is your first Ni200 coil, I'd recommend building a couple more for when the first two fail.
Forget what you thought you knew about building kanthal coils, nickel is a whole new ball game.
Here's a piece of advice.
Tight secure connections (coil, atty, 510)
Addiquit wicking dont be afraid to use a little more wick in the coil
Airflow, airflow, airflow
Oh and not all attys are conducive to a great TP/Ni200 experience.

I really think that is a major point. Ok, copy the form factor/electronics etc . Most of this stuff is not patented anyway. However, leave off the logos/engraving etc. Its just adding insult to injury as I have said before! I know there is at least one maker of
Kayfun clones that gives you the option to keep it plain! EHPRO I think...

So here's what I discovered on mine, model 1659, 5 clicks lock it but after deep sleep it then fires on the first click. Maybe this has already been said before and I missed it.

Thanks for the tips. I already discovered the tightening factor on the first build. Ohms meter read it at .23 and it should have been around .15 or .16, according to steam engine. I gave the coil leg screws a little more tightening and it dropped the reading to .16, about where it should of been. Unscrewd and screwed atty on ohms meter and got the same .16 each time. I think I will try twisting some wire for the next build. Thanks again. Can always use the extra help with the TP.

Then it has already (prior to SF USPS) passed through ICS san Francisco ICS (customs) expect it by Tuesday. Maybe Monday depending on your location.

Since was processed through on March 22 and is in USPS hands now, according to past delivery history from China I'll probably get either on the 25th Wed. or the 26th Thurs. of this week.

It usually takes that long to get to Texas. IF I get it on Tues the 24th then I'll jump for joy and begin toying with this new MOD.

I'll have to check but am pretty sure it will take 5 clicks to get it going again, in 30 minutes I'll check it, it's locked now.
I'm going to give it 15 more minutes.
After 45 minutes my Evolv board stayed locked.
