I hate this back and forth on the SS 510 flask. I ordered the Kangxin black 1660 but really wanted the SS Sunlay one to be good. Finally ordered the Kangxin after a couple of bad feedbacks on the newer SS 510 version. Then I read that maybe it's ok. Then I read another bad review. I hope I did the right thing by getting the Kangxin. This will be my first TP mod. I have a ipv4 on preorder, but who knows when they will finally release that one. Supposedly the first part of April. Fingers crossed and hoping for a good flask.

You should really like the Kangxin. I have the 1660 and it's great. The only thing I don't like is that if you lock it with the 5x fire button and then let it go into deep sleep (which takes at least 30-45 minutes or longer) it will fire right away when powering back up. The lock feature works correctly if you are under the 30-45 minutes before deep sleep kicks in.

Thanks for the heads up on the lock feature. I am anxious to get it.

New to the forum so bare with me, got a brass top and bottom VF from 3fvape right before the CNY for the wife. This thing has worked like a charm, but today she brings it to me and shows me the bottom up and down button has pushed in all the way into the case. Took the top off to see if something came loose, but everything is so stuffed in there I was afraid of pulling out a wire or two. This VF does have round robin so it's not broke, but I put a email into 3fvape just to see what they might do for this. On the chance they ignore me, has anyone pulled the guts out of these VF yet and how hard would this be to fix? Or just leave it alone?

Thanks,

Luke

Just a quick update on our VF clone from 3Fvape, been dealing with Gina and Kate on our VF with the button that pushed into the case. I got an email today from Gina and Kate, they are going to send us a new one free of charge and told us to keep the old one. I must say 3Fvape has got to be the best place to buy a clone device, they seem to really care about their customers.

Just wanted to share a little good news.

I hope I have the same experience. I had to make a video and send to them. They said they would send the video to their manufacturer and get back with me. More waiting.

Thats great. They do seem to be very helpful! Bit worrying that this button issue seems to be quite common though. I know of at least two other examples on this forum alone. Hope mine holds up! Good luck with the replacement guys!!!

Great news! Now just wait to get the new one, pop the hood on the old one, remove the hot glue mounting the up down buttons Glue them down properly & you are all set!

Then you will have a his / hers matched set! You will actually get to use one for a change! Very cool!

Got mine a couple of hours ago, and my first impressions are fantastic. Vaping a brand new Kanger sub tank mini on it with a brand new pair of flast top VT4s, and I'm impressed.
I will only be running it for now with kanthal until I'm happy with that before moving on to any TP use. This is just first impressions, I will test over the next few days and post again with more detail.

A couple of points -
-Generally the build is very good but there as some slightly rough finishing/machining marks on the the copper parts if I was to be super picky. I'm also a little concerned about the softness of the copper 510 threads, time will tell. All the atomizers I have tried so far fit flush and level.
-The USB connector is a bit off center, but this doesn't stop the cable from fitting smooth and flush.
- I can confirm that there is a half second or so delay before if fires.
- Buttons are very positive and clicky
- The anodizing on the case is flawless
- Both the battery caps protrude exactly 1mm from the case when tightened down on the batteries. I'm not sure if this is as designed, or they are meant to be flush. It matter not. The picture below is without batteries fitted.
- This is my first box mod, and it feels a little weird after using tube mods and mechs. But it is a snug fit in my hand I'm sure I will get used to it.
- I took off the top and had a peak inside. What I could see looked clean and well soldered, everything else was immersed in hot glue.. The 510 connector is glued in place, so anyone thinking of swapping it out with a FDV replacement may struggle a little, or not, close ups below.

Here are some close ups of some of the details mentioned above.

I ordered my Kangxin #1660 back in February from 3FVape. A couple of weeks later (right after CNY) I saw that a few others who had orders placed later than me were getting shipping notices. I emailed 3FVape and Kate immediately replied. She apologized and immediately shipped my order via airmail no charge. I received it a few days later. Pretty good service in my opinion.

Yep this thread is titled as a clone thread. My post wasn't designed to be argumentative as you state. You can certainly dispute my calling this a counterfeit as opposed to a clone..... Usually when one can't fault the message they attack the messenger (as you did)... In a spirit of discussion (and not argument nor personal attacks) please tell me how this is not a counterfeit. In others words lets play nice and have a civil discussion.

If you do, a pm discussion would be much appreciated. Thank you.
