Not sure which one it is : DNA40 Chip Clone (Temp Control) $30.55 | Best Vape Deals

Regards
Tony

Sent from my keyboard through my phone or something like that.

That Cigabuy Chip never worked and was discontinued. Cigabuy ripped off a lot of people with that one. When they realized they didn't work, they started shipping them after breaking the screens & fought with people who received them about refunds. Bad business!

This is the silver Waidea VF V3 with fixed 510 pin I bought this one here in Holland but it must be the same as the Chinese comps are selling.

@Croak I think that's just a lighting artifact on the silver.
Well seen, you are right about that.

@TheBloke Nice! But what's that blue one, I thought the Waidea was only black and silver? And you own two already? Pfft, save some for the rest of us!
I like the blue one also hmm..... no 1 is enough and I better save my money for the next new surprise ;)

You think? I thought that at first too, it's just looks.. SO blue! :) It really looks like a proper blue mod, and I love it and want it :) My istick 50W is in blue and I love it.

Anyway you must be right if that's a Waidea, cos they're definitely only silver and black..

EDIT missed that the confirmation came already!

Yeah, give it two weeks and they'll be 4 more highly desirable mods/clones to try and resist the temptation to buy! I'm already trying desperately to stop myself ordering the IPV4 as soon as I'm able to...

Wait, seriously? Jeez, that's downright criminal.

Robby on AAEC got one with a broken screen, they shipped him another with a broken screen & they are fighting with him now about refunds trying to get him to pay partial on both chips. they are in PayPal dispte now but Paypal will refund you only if you mail item back at your cost so Cigabuy usually wins because it cost more to ship back than to buy. Also Cigabuys return address tracks back to a Chi House in Hong Kong. When I pointed that out to PayPal, Paypal refunded me themselves but did not charge Cigabuy or "Welcome" I should Say.

Nasty :( I was just googling about them, found references to them selling Hana mods which claim to be TC but the TC is completely non-functional - presumably using that same chip.

In one case on Reddit, he paid via Paypal and some months later had received nothing. They locked him out of his account, so he raised a Paypal dispute. Cigabuys first got the Paypal claim closed by adding a tracking number indicating it had been shipped, but the number was for some other customer in a different part of the country.

When he re-opened the claim, Cigabuys then convinced Paypal that they don't sell physical, shipped products because selling nicotine-based products is against Paypal US' TOS! So of course Paypal won't do anything with further claims.

What scum.

Received 3FVape's Vapor Shark rDNA40TC clone the other day. Build quality seems very good, has the magnetic battery door & the rubber finish was executed well. Time will tell if this coating holds up better than many of the original units I have heard of. The seam down the front of the unit enclosing the electronics could have been fitted better though & when the fire button LEDs are lit the seam really stands out. I believe the center pin is not fixed as there seems to be a small amount of movement although the spring seems very stiff.

Vapor Shark rDNA40TC initially misread my Kanger Subtank Mini w/ Vapor Shark NI200 OCC coil as .29ohm and was definitely running way hot at a set point of 200F that it came out of box with and it did not refine and correct the resistance reading the way my Kangxin flask would have. After I let it cool, removed the atty, reinstalled, & chose New Coil it read the resistance properly as .15ohm & operated fine as far as temp control goes but it does seem to provide a considerably warmer vape than my kangxin when set to same temperature.

It is equipped with the small display screen as used on the flask & not the larger display used on later versions of the original. The unit display dims 3 seconds after use, display goes off completely 30 seconds after use, however the fire button will continue to glow red until the unit enters sleep 5 after minutes of idle time. There is a full 1 second delay from sleep to fire which I find annoying.

The usb cord included with the unit is fairly short so I haven't checked for passthru operation. There is no display animation when usb charging, just the green LED glowing at the fire button until charging is complete.

Thinking this is the same chip as used in the Waidea flask.

Thanks for the update. I ordered one on 3/14 but it just shipped today 4/1. Not sure why the shipping was delayed.

Does it have zip charging and built-in wireless charging as advertised? Also curious about the reverse battery buzzer although I wouldn't want you to try it.

I just hope my Kangxin that is arriving in a couple of days it's good. I was really on the fence between it and the waidea, but not much out there for positive waidea reviews when I ordered a couple of weeks ago. Of course, now it looks like that is the one to have, since now the bad Kangxin reviews are starting to pop up. Bummer, with my luck, the Kangxin will be DOA or break down soon after and then I have a 2 month turnaround, but only if I can get it replaced.

PayPal is protecting Cigabuy due to the amount of business they do. I had contacted them to let them know I was submitting evidence that indicated Cigabuy Altered the Product Page Specifications to Avoid refunding people, Falsely advertised the item, Suppressed honest review submission to their product pages, Buried the product pages when investigations were in progress, Provided false return addresses and regularly violated the policies listed on their own site hiding behind PayPal policies which are much more limited and submitted an email from Cigabuy they sent me agreeing to a full refund when they saw the extent of my evidence.

Paypal still tried to make me ship item back at my expense despite Cigabuys policy advertising full return shipping reimbursement, and email from Cigabuy agreeing to the refund & threatened to cancel my Paypal account if I disputed the charge to Paypal on my Amex Card. Took me 3 calls back to PayPal supervisors to get the decision reversed & only won by threatening to go public, report the incident and PayPals continued protection of a Seller guilty of predatory business practices as indicated by the overwhelming body of evidence I presented to every credit card company & news service I could find.

I will stop this OT discussion after saying that if anyone is in a dispute w/ Cigabuy about the chip or the Hana that carried it, PM me & I will submit copies of everything I compiled to you to use in your case.

Yeah not gonna test reverse battery, sorry. Never even got an instruction manual or pamphlet besides what was printed on the label of the packaging possibly from 3FVapes policy of opening & testing each of these before shipment.

Define zip charging & wireless charging please. I received a short usb cord that will charge unit fairly quickly as stated in original post. Just looked up wireless charging & suggest you ask 3FVape that question, but I don't think I'm gonna spend more than $27.00 to test if this clone will charge wirelessly.

The board is protected from reverse battery insertion but if you put one battery in opposite polarity of the other they're going to fry, but the board should be OK

In flask balance board would fry. I was referring to Vapor Shark clone. Theoretically, it is protected, don't think I want to test that though.

It (VF) might just be protected with a VF with the board, I'm not sure if all the clones have one, the original doesn't have the battery board.
Mine's no longer going to have one but it probably will only have one battery anyway, but I wasn't going to use it even if I set it up for two batts.
