Already posted in your other thread but: A friend of mine was in heavy contact with Focalecig and he confirmed that the latest batch has also the lastest firmware with the fixed resistance issue. They finally decided not to have a low-voltage warning too, instead the mod lowers the watts when the batter drains <3.5V.

Thats what he said and that is what I can confirm from my sxk nebula. I thought the missing low battery warning is an error, after reading a bit and testing the lowering wattage thing, I like it!
Where did you order your Nebula from? fasttech, 3F, .....

As for your previous post, I hear the SXK flasks have a problem with the battery threads being coated in paint or them being anodized and not cleaned. People got wires brushes and super cleaned the battery threads and while they were at it they sanded the top plate of the flask. As to your second post I bought my Nebula from 3Fvape for around $65 I think. Took about 12 days to get to me in PA. Great mod, I got the solid brass one.

yes, the black one. They coated the battery cover threads and these need to be cleaned.

Having a problem with my SXK VF! When I put fully charged batteries in it works for a couple of minutes then shows the low battery indicator & goes dead. I haven't been on here in a few few because I have been using a yihi temp. control mod. So if this issue has come up already could someone please reference me the pages. Thanks! Any advice welcomed!
I guess it`s the ground issue. You can test it. Take a cable with stripped ends and hold one end to one of the battery caps and the other end to your (uncoated) atomizer or the 510, when you get low battery displayed. If this works, you`ll have to screw the top plate off and sand down the coating on top of the body and under the top plate and clean the surface. There is no direct connection from the negative pol of the batteries to the board. The board is connected to the 510, the 510 to the cop plate, the top plate is screwed ......

I'm so sick of fiddling with my black SXK flask that I'm thinking of giving it away, to someone I don't like.

Yeah I feel your pain. Mine has barely worked for a day. Have to find some time to give the battery cap threads a good cleaning and sand the top plate. I am not low on mods so priority is low for now but I would really like to have it working. If I can run it for a couple weeks I will put my genuine DNA40 in it. Until then it will reside in the Hana-ish DIY enclosure.

are there any of these Vapor Flask clones that have a "titanium wire" mode yet? - my Waidea purchased in March from Focal E-cig still works great, including with titanium, but still have the issue of occasionally having to go in and retighten the ground nuts under the 510 connector, which is a pain, usually after a hard drop or something like that has loosened them.

PS - here is a quick link to the perfect fine German tool for disassembling these:

The SXK flasks, and all the SXK mods - rDNA and Zero clones and their own branded Nebula (which is a Hana clone) - feature 'Nickel Purity' which is a bad name for an adjustable TCR.

To vape Titanium on an SXK mod, change Nickel Purity to between 35 and 40: experiment and adjust according to vape characteristics. 35 is the right setting, but at least the earlier models required 40. This might now be fixed.

Also SXK told me the other day that they're planning to release mods with 'Titanium mode' soon. I don't know if that means new mods or also updates to existing mods, but I have asked. I'm hoping it doesn't mean they will also remove Nickel Purity, but instead keep that feature and just add a switchable wire mode for people who don't understand TCRs.

Speaking of the SXK Vapor Flask clones from China ... I was really thinking about ordering a silver colored 60w one from either 3FVape or FocalEcig, but after reading some of these posts, I am having second thoughts about buying one.

It's obvious that the SXK version of the DNA40 chipset in these SXK Vapor Flask clones is still problematic ... I wonder if the problems will be fixed by SXK if I just wait maybe another 2 months ??

The Waidea clone (or however you spell it) works fantastic and is super reliable, just have to tighten the ground wire under 510 occasionally, especially after a drop, once it is configured properly with ring and nuts reordered correctly.

On this unit, 320°F is a good setting for titanium. I prefer silver as it doesn't show fingerprints. I use Japanese cotton and pure 100% VG juice.

I wonder if the new SXK rubberized finish flasks will have rubber on the inside threads as well :)

They've solved the low-ohm reading problem. I've had no problems with my silver version. The nickel purity setting is a great feature and I think it's still the best flask clone around.

I placed an order for the black rubberized SXK VF. I'll update in a couple of weeks.
where did you get it? I have a vapor flask by vapor shark and it has the rubber coating. sofar I love it but, time will tell how long it will hold up ;) it seems better than the coating on my vapor shark though :) it'll be interesting to see what SXK have done...
