i have done dual coils on my orchid but it is always like .09 .08 or .1 but they do work nice at 25 watts and can run them at 40 watts but battery wears out quite fast and atty gets pretty warm(hot) even
I guess we will never know whether the buttons and usb are design choices or flaws in manufacturing until Vapor Flas outright says so. O well, i can live with a mm or so protrusion from my button as i stated, it helps me differentiate. Plus i dont use USB most of the time just cus it takes so long to charge. O well. I can live with that. ALthough it does move both laterally and inward, i dont feel worried about it.
I tested my USB yesterday by inserting and pulling out the charge cable repeatedly for 30 min and absolutely no issues. O well its watever, people like things flawless and i can absolutely relate to that. I guess for me these very minor flaws do not affect my overall experience with the device.
I should clarify: im not "settling" for crappy threads. I simply wanted to state that my threads were on the same level as a provari. Smooth, clean, not crunchy at all, but not like my Naval Brass Nemesis which has the absolute best threading ive ever used. Brass threads are the smoothest, SS is next best, and Aluminum has always been my least quality threads. This is based on my experience ONLY using 20 or so mods over my vape career. Its just my experience, my Flask has been a pleasing device and i have no complaints.
I STRONGLY suggest to ANYONE who has ANY compaints about his/her Flask contact the company directly so that they can rectify the issue ASAP. I doubt they would refuse to accomodate our concerns
I agree about the usb but not the button. Google vapor flask and look at every image you can that were taken for vapor flash vape rev etc. Not one closeup picture shows the bottom button sticking out further. The pictures here that have shown the button that sticks out further look like it missed the final machining process and don't look polished and finished to me anyways. Mine are perfect.
Now you want to argue with the owner/designer that he didn't design it that way? I saw him say this on FB long ago and spoke to him tonight. I guess if you choose not to believe it you don't have to.
Exactly why I stopped reading this thread.
Choose to see it anyway you want to. Either way that means that not all units are made correctly because mine has both buttons exactly the same, one is not protruding like you say they designed it.
Since my flask is working again, I figured I'd ask others about their experiences with the Ni200 coils and temperature control. I picked up some new juice yesterday (Parrot Vapor's Pink - think Strawberry Lemonade), but wasn't happy with the amount of flavor. It wasn't until I disabled temperature control (which I'd had set at 410F) that I started to get a good amount of flavor. 35W on a .07 ohm twisted 28Ga coil wrapped around a 3mm mandrel for 9 wraps. I'm running it in a Plume Veil clone.
Thoughts? Too low resistance maybe? Maybe just the juice itself requires a higher temp for the flavors to come out?
Thx all!

And if you think because something cost $300 or thousands of dollars that there won't be some irregularities then you're sadly mistaken. No one mass produces anything that is 100% perfect.
I got my Vaporflask last week on Thursday. Noticed my usb was loose and crooked so I emailed VF and they said the usb was designed that way and gave a very good explaination. I still dont agree since Ive used hundreds of devices w solid usb ports, but whatever. Next day my screen went jumbled. Then it started flashing all the time. Emailed again and got the RMA form. My flask will arrive today at VF for repair. Hoping I get it back very quickly. My up & down buttons were perfect. My fire button was a bit loose and rattly. Will see how it comes back.
You've got it wrong. It's not what I say, it's what they say. If you read my previous post he said if both buttons were the same that that was the irregularity. And if you think because something cost $300 or thousands of dollars that there won't be some irregularities then you're sadly mistaken. No one mass produces anything that is 100% perfect.
And you do realize that Vapor Flask is a new company and has only been selling mods for a matter of months, right?
Scratches on the button

The bottom button sticks out quite a bit more and is wriggly

I did managed to push the purple Efest in without too much trouble actually. But. You can def see the inconsistency of the connection height

Charging port card is veeeery exposed. You def don't wanna get even a drop of water on it

My screen came well centered tho!

I believe that's your problem as well. According to the Evolv Data Sheet...
Where did you get yours?
The ProVari costs "only" $180. Just saying.
Like this one. That bottom button does not look like any of the 8 flasks I have seen in person. If the bottom button was higher it was very slight and had the same level of finish work done to it.
