I received my replacement today and all I can say is WOW! Talk about a company being customer conscious, e-mailed on Friday 10-24 (at 7:30 PM) and the replacement unit is in my hands today. Perfect shape, no blemishes and the display is dead on straight.
I wanted to see the difference on my R91. I built a .10 coil (weird) and gave it a run. I’ve been vaping it for a couple hours and it's a nice cool vape with a ton of vapor production.
I did notice at twenty 20W I was getting the temp protection message so I backed down on the power to 10w. No change in vapor and the message stopped. Does anyone know if this will extend the battery life?
So the final thought is I really like the flask and the new chip. I believe the flavor is much better on the dna 40 over the convention chip.
Kudos to the team at Vapor Flask for getting me back up and running so quickly.

I'm on my second day with my DNA40 Flask and the battery level indicator has BARELY moved. It's ridiculous.

I just ordered my 3rd DNA40 from Dixie's Vapor Shop in Kennesaw, GA. They only do phone orders. Phone number is on their website. This is the shop where I got my first DNA40 Flask and it was a good transaction if you are worried. They had 10 blacks and 9 silvers when I ordered my silver one just now.

The gun metal has a little too much bluish tinge for me.

Hello fellas, been reading through this thread the last hour or so. Just ordered (finally!!!) a VF in silver. I am a little scared honestly, international buyers like myself can´t really make good use of the nice CS VF has. So, bottom line things we should watch for:
1. Klingon board 2. Autofireing 3. attys not sitting flush 4.crooked screen 5. Minor blemishes here and there
For the price of this beauty at least 3, 4 and 5 shouldn´t exist 1 and 2 are probably not VF fault but Evolv`s. Anyway I`ll let everyone know how this go. I personally doubt I`ll encounter any issues, by now I am sure VF has corrected any QC problems.

I keep refreshing each site i know of selling these and i have shared the crap out of their contest. May the vapegods shine good fortune on me.
OK, so I finally got around to rebuilding my first kfl+v2/vf40. And I have to say WOW. I mean wow. I've never said wow before when vaping. But it's awesome. I don't know why. The flavor. The vapor. Just wow. I did a twisted build (not sure if thats what its called? I got 2 30g ni200 wires, and twisted them using a drill). And it's awesome. Came out to .10 ohms. I decided to try a twisted non touching 6/7 wrap 2.4mm ID because using a single wire was too delicate. I cannot begin to explain how happy this setup makes me. I would order another, but I dont really need a dual batt box mod. But wow. It's so efficient that if I chain vape I do get light headed. No dry hits, no burn, just flavor.
Glad to hear that Silver5656. I've read the nickel wire can be tough to work with. Sounds like the twisted coils make it easier.
I have the same setup in my magma and big dripper... Flavor overload!

The B&Ms that I've spoken to expect weekly shipments so give it a go next week.
I called Dixie's Vapor Shop for 3 days straight until I acquired one from them. They didn't mind one bit either.
