So this screen glitch got me thinking... Mine happened after a week... That might indicate wear on some part is causing a ground issue which may confuse the board (I noticed when I was building a dna 40 Diy box that everytime I grounded out the down button the screen would go crazy).... So moving parts include the buttons and the positive pin on the 510 bottom side... Popping off the hood and looking at it the positive sandwiches the ground wire between the posi pin and the battery terminal... Inspecting the ground wire I noticed a small pin hole where the positive has been hitting it over and over everytime I switch attys... So I moved the ground wire well out of the way of the positive pin.. It kinda makes sense because it only happens when the unit is cold then I fire it I.e. The insulator for the ground wire contracts a little because of the cold and exposes more of the ground... So I'll keep yall posted and see if this helps the issue..

The wattage should only jump around when in temp mode, with a Ni200 nickel coil. It jumps around to keep the temperature wherever you've set it.

See... They told me it jumps with Kanthal too... mine jumps with Kanthal, don`t know what to do. He told not to send it to Evolv since that is the normal operation, even with kanthal.

Well, everything changes resistance with temperature, I'm sure of that. But I have no idea why Nickel is the material these require to read the temp correctly. (And I don't know if the board is supposed to show the resistance change when not in TP. It sounds logical that it would)

I wish if someone here just takes us ME out of misery, and just tell me if their device, fluctuate WATTS from 0.4 all the way up, using KANTHAL, can`t seem to get a straight answer
