Glad to hear that! Where did you get it? and also when? maybe when can pinpoint what batch had bad boards.... maybe.

Forgot what thread I read this on and could have even been this one but here goes. I guess what evolv thought was a small group of people with problems turned out to me much larger then first thought. Looks like they got some bad chips that were installed on the evolv boards. So most likely they will be replacing not updating with software to fix the issues. I for one am happy that it was a hardware not software issue. Hopefully have mine back today or tomorrow.

Sorry, but you received some bad information. It's still only effecting 10%, but that's 10% of 20,000 units. And it's not a chip that's bad it's the actual PCB boards that the chips attach to. Evov's supplier of PCBs sent them a batch that was bad.

Not trying to be nit picky but there is a big difference between the chip and the PCB. Unfortunately the bad PCBs were outside of the control of Evolv and didn't show themselves until they got into the field.

So if anyone cares to know how long it takes here is my experience. Shipped on Nov 4th to VF since I had issues with the build as well as the board. Email early in the week from them saying I should have it back by the end of the week. Email received today with tracking number and shipped priority mail. So if all goes well I get it sat or mon. Feels like Christmas morning and can't wait to get it back.

Did I wrong you at some point in my life? My point is mine had to have flask issues fixed and the board replaced. So I would think that others should see even better return times. Agian if this helps someone other then you then that works for me.

I have no idea why you feel that way. I stated the obvious from what I read right here in this thread. Most of us had to send our Flasks to Evolv. So your experience did not have any relevance for us. We WILL have longer wait times as Evolv is getting returns from multiple manufacturers.

And when I said I was happy for you, that was sincere. There was no malice intended in my post and I'm sorry if you took it that way.

I wonder what happens to Flasks returned to Vapor Flask on Saturday. I put tracking and shipping on my package. Lady at Vapor Flask said no one would be there on Saturday and it would sit at post office till Monday. Well I just checked the tracking and it said delivered today. I hope they didn't just leave it on a door step to some building.

I guess I was one of the lucky folks to have a fully functioning Flask. I haven't put this thing down since I received it!

I gotta wonder if I got lucky too... Screen is straight and has not glitched once. My only issue is getting "temp protection" on my Ni200 builds and sometimes it takes a few fires for it to recognize Ni200 versus Kanthal. I'm thinking it is my builds that is giving me problem and have just not mastered the right combo.

Other than the screen problems, what else are people experiencing that results in them returning the device?

I thought I heard someone mention that they have a PO box. That might explain the Sunday delivery
