I wanna give a huge shout out to vapor flask... I had sent my vapor flask to evolv for rma... I have tracking and delivery confirmation... And they lost it! Well I got a call from Vf today... They are replacing it for me! Great service... I've been without mine for almost a month now... I miss it :-(

Glad to hear you're getting a replacement Hees! When I spoke to Charlie from VF earlier this week, it was very clear they're dedicated to customer service and will do what's right to take care of their customers.

Also for all those that have been complaining about the buttons, look at the video on this page on Evolv's site, linked below. The Vapor Flask in the video has the lower button protruding just like the majority and like how Vapor Flask says they designed them.

Evolv LLC - Shop Now

Of course I am sure some will still not accept that as fact.

I stand corrected. Mine are both the same and both bottom buttons. I did not see before that that top button is flush with the unit. You think they would have fixed that when it was returned to them to fix my other issues. The only picture I saw that showed uneven buttons had a very unfinished look to it. That was the first time I saw one where you could actually see the top button flush.

On a side note my flask has been outstanding since getting the new board and using the screws and not post holes to do my builds.

Who has it? VF or Evolv? I just sent mine into VF directly this week and am trying to figure out how long it'll take to get back to me....I am hoping for the best and prepping for the worst. If I get it back by xmas I'll be happy....

I sent it directly to VF. Preston did respond to my email today. Thanks for that info. Missed his call so I'm not sure what the status is yet. Hope to find out soon. At least I got a response and a contact now. I'll let you know how it goes.

I apologize in advance for not devoting a weekend to reading all previous posts.

Question about batteries. Ordered some, apparently fake vtc5's which don't even fit into my new flask & with the current shortage of them & vtc4's, not sure ... I should look for. I know VF also recommends LG HE2 which don't seem to be as promising as the Samsung 25R's, but the 25R's aren't on VF's recommendation list.

Any advise or suggestions would be tremendously appreciated.

(I just can't wait for VTC5's to come back into circulation)

My first flask had a bad DNA board, VapeRev let me send it back and they sent me a new one. The replacement has a sticky fire button that continuously fires. They won't take the second one back, and directed me to Vapor Flask. Was ...... off, but sent an email to Preston who replied promtly first thing this morning with RMA instructions.

Hope they get their QA issues resolved soon. It's a great device, but these little issues give a bad impression.

Happy to hear Preston got back to you....yeah he told me that they've really streamlined the repair process, so hopefully you won't be without it for too long!! I shot him a PM today asking about my unit but haven't heard back....I assume he's just really busy and that the mod will be back to me soon.... :)

Well, flask is on it's way back to Georgia for repair. Fingers crossed I get it back before Christmas. I must give them credit - ever since I used the email address JP provided, they answer almost immediately.

I hope you get it back by xmas too!!

I just was emailing with Preston a bit earlier. He told me that they went ahead and replaced the chip in my unit just to be safe....should have it back late this week/early next week I hope...glad they decided to replace the chip. At least now I can be sure that it'll come back to me running correctly!! :)

I purchased a Vapor Flask v2.1 DNA40 yesterday and reading through this thread has worried me.
What are the problems with the Vapor Flask? I paid $306 for it and I don't want to end up with a sub-par product.
So far I've collected that there are issues with the DNA chip itself, stuck firing button, and uneven up/down buttons.

Are these problems widespread or are they isolated cases?
