i started the electronic cig journey a few months back. here is the first post that i started here.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...any-info-helps-have-been-reading-6-weeks.html

I have spent a good amount of money on vapor4life products and now here i am after spending 250.00 all the batteries but one is still working. the sad thing is, i researched everything and followed all the things required to a T. problems is all the batteries from them that i recieved go out for no reason. i offically hate that company because just like i thought, when i contacted them about the problems with my rma batteries and the ones i had working, i got sorry your 30 day warranty is up and there is nothing that they can do. i recieved garbage on my initial order with them and recieved garbage on a rms claim for 3 batteries. funny thing is i didnt use them that much or even abuse them at all. one day the batteries stopped working after a charge (led blinking). the auto and manual batteries just took a dump. now i only have 1 manual battery that still works. the 250.00 dollars i spent and the company just poops on me.

THEIR SORRY PRODUCTS ONLY WORK A FEW HOURS, AND JUST LAST LONG ENOUGH TO PASS THE 30 DAY WARRANTY! I HOPE THEY ROT IN HELL BC THEY JUST RIPPED ME OUT OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY ON JUNK PRODUCTS!

everyone here should know this info, hope this comes up on a google search. i guess you get that you pay for, cheap garbage from a company (vapor4life) that you think that you are getting a good quality product at a price that you can afford.

To be honest, I wouldn't go back to a vendor that treated me like that either. I only use mods and don't have a big investment in batteries except for 510's (I've had them for 9 months and haven't lost one yet). I read a thread within the past week or so with the same problem as you. You would think after a vendor gets so many complaints, they would be contacting their manufacturer but it doesn't seem to be the case. Sorry to hear about your troubles and you have every right to be upset about it.

When I first started vaping I had V4L batteries, and had no problems. I quickly moved on to other things, but the batteries I had never had a problem. I passed them all on to friends, and they have since ALL stopped working. MAybe I have been lucky, or maybe I took better care of them than others.

That said I would not continue buying products that did not perform for me, so I believe that Pete has a worthy complaint.

The small tube shaped batteries only have about a 200 recharge limit. And even after 40-50 recharges they will not hold a charge that long. Doesn't sound like you reached that level yet. One of many reasons I don't like small batteries.

If you get something like an E-Power or GLV2 where you buy the batteries separately, those batteries can be recharged about 2000 times. Better performance, less frustration.

Sorry for your problems.

I use their products and have for almost 2 years.I havent had any problems. Most people have batteries replaced by V4L even after the warranty expires.Im really surprised to read that you have had a problem getting replacements. You should call them and ask what the deal is.

Heres the number 773 456 0116

In my opinion, V4L is overpriced, I don't know how anyone can honestly recommend them. Not only do they not offer any useful information about their products (like mAh or voltage or the fact that they are rebranded kr808d-1 batteries) but they make money off their shipping & handling, (6.95 when it costs them 5.25 to send .. the box is free) refuse to offer 1st class shipping, require $50 minimum orders to use their coupons (most of the time .. when there is no minimum, the savings is 10-12% .. big deal. Even with the discount, they are more expensive than other vendors) and they have special "private" lists (aside from their regular mailing list) that give bigger discounts to preferred "family" members (pretending to care about me in a forum on the internet does not make you family .. although they do screw you over like family often does) .. and guess who pays for it? Everyone else. Clearly, those folks on the "family" list have no problem making the everyday customer pay for their discount. Frankly, I couldn't bring myself to do that. Don't even get me started on how nasty (or short lived) their pre-filled cartos are.

The one time I did require assistance, it took them at least a week to even respond to my email. By then, I had purchased somewhere else, where they answered my question in a timely manner. If you are going to do business on the internet, especially in this field where there are so many options, I feel you must respond to questions within 24 hours. '

Now, bring on the attacks. I don't care. Maybe I typo'd something that you can point out and feel superior to me over it.

You have every right to be angry, OP, and I don't blame you a bit. Some excellent companies that won't go out of their way to screw you are: Litecigusa.com, cignot.com, madvapes.com and/or Liberty Flights. (they screw up sometimes, but at least they make it right)

I haven 't had any issues on batteries but have only had them a couple of months. I did just place an order last night for prefilled carts because of the 27% off coupon but after I did it I felt like a dumba. I could have gotten the same thing from myvaporstore for cheaper without a coupon. I agree they are overpriced and their shipping charges are crazy. I also have sent them two messages and only got a responce to one. In that message I said that my first message about a different issue was never answered, it was not even acknowledged. I don't think I will be ordering from them again.

I haven't ordered from them in a long time but I do agree they have some shoddy stuff. When I was using their products a little over a year or so ago, I found out that the batteries would turn on by themselves in my car. I do have some thump in the trunk, but it wasn't turned up loud, apparently they use a microphone to sense when to activate, I'm not sure if that's changed or not. They would also turn on when flicking them, like say with 1 hand against a single finger on the other hand, or the armrest of the couch. Their customer service seemed fair to me though, as I ordered around 10 batteries from them and 1 came defective, though they did make me pay to ship the defective 1 back to them. Paying $4 and something to ship back a defective $14 battery had me a little miffed.

So I shopped around, ordered kits from both Nhaler and Litecig, neither of which was microphone activated like V4L thankfully. The plain black Litecig XL battery was probably the longest lasting and most durable of my small batteries, not sure who he ordered them from or if he still does, but you could try it. I went from there to the elegant easy batteries, and then stepped into the world of mods and couldn't be happier.

Pete, I can definitely relate to what you're saying, and yes I'll agree that they are a pretty crappy company. That being said, I probably wouldn't have stopped smoking without them, instead believing that the hassel I currently go through with mods and batteries and ce-2 cartomizers to be too much, and probably kept right on smoking. Good can come from bad, all you can do is learn and progress. I do hope you stick with vaping, I know how much better I feel for doing so.

V4l is good in the sense that they make it idiot proof bc just about everything on their site is compatible. They are overpriced and i too have had issues with their batteries. I'm almost strictly a madvapes person now. Madvapes doesnt have a sale every other day because their prices are fair from the start and if there is an issue the CS team will almost always get back to you the same day. It's a little more complicated bc the offering from madvapes is so large, but once u know what u like to use, its a no brainer

I've had battery issues with multiple vendors, by no means V4L-specific. I used 808 gear from V4L, NHaler, vaporsetc, litecigusa. In all cases I received decent CS, replacement if I was within, or even close to, warranty period.

Never had a problem understanding that what V4L sells is 808, nor the mAh of their batteries.

Then again, when I switched to Riva for a couple months there were issues there too.

Now I use a mod, had one RMA round, fast fix.

So, out of 808, 510, and now VV mod, they've all had something go out needing repair or replacement. The vendors have all been pretty decent about it.

I've had zero problems recommending V4L, particularly for new people who want a cig form factor or want the hands-free convenience of an 808. I don't get anything special out of recommending them, other than knowing they do have a really wide array of prefilleds and are consistently decent at CS. Slightly higher priced than other shops, often, but their kit works and I don't have to worry about a new person getting an incompatible mix of products. Likewise I've been happy to recommend other vendors.

Sounds like you're ready to move on to something bigger and better to me. Maybe a 901 Riva from Liberty Flights (you can use your V4L cartos with that). Or perhaps you might be ready for a mod that will give you better performance with non-proprietary batteries. Think about it. Only took me a month before I was mixing my own juice and making mods.

Some advice about batteries.

1. Manual batteries are better because you can't flood them and destroy them. Or at least it's harder to do that. A percentage of auto batteries that die are down to flooding.

2. Never run ecig batteries down until they stop working. Recharge them before they need it, that way they last longer.

3. 50% of the battery equation is the charger, so it pays to look at that side of it as well. For example, fast chargers aren't as good for the battery as slow chargers. Some chargers don't give the battery a full charge, so the battery dies quicker.

Here's a charger trick: if you have two types of charger, like a USB one and a wall one, you might tend to use the USB one more. After charging a battery with the USB one, put it on the wall one and see if it takes more charge. Sometimes it will. That means the wall one is charging it slightly more, so the batteries will last longer.

I wanted to try them but I just refuse to deal with any company that over prices on shipping. Their are way too many good vendors that have normal shipping charges and good customer service. Like someone said earlier, Having a bunch of sales on their products is crap. I deal with several vendors for myself and my wife and love all of them. They are fair and dont try and steal from me with over pricing shipping.
