i just ordered mine last month late and my rDNA is etched
Excellent. I remember there was a problem with the logo rubbing off on the VS DNA20 until they switched to etching.
i just ordered mine last month late and my rDNA is etched
I'll buy one, but I have still doubt, this would be my first DNA, but is expensive 200 !!
yep.. at 1 ohm, you need more watts...just dabble with watts above 10 to find your sweet spot..Does anyone one what it means when the ohm reading on the rDNA screen is flashing?
I've been running 2.3ohm coils on ProTank II's. No flashing ohms reading.
Only when I stick a kayfun re-buildable with 1.0 ohms does the ohm reading on the screen flash from 7-10 watts. If I go past 10 watts the ohm reading stops flashing.
Any ideas?
Anyone having any issues with the rDNA? I'm really wanting one, but keep thinking it sounds too good to be true. It's got everything I've been looking for, and is the cheapest authentic DNA device I've seen. I've been planning on building my own using the fasttech enclosure, but the rDNA is only about $50 more (considering I'd have to buy some tools).
Mine is in the mail back for repair now.. button was sticking and auto firing out of the box.
Oscar took care of me to send it back and now its Just a waiting game. Hopefully they just replace it
since I feel thats the correct way to handle this but he said he was going to try and repair it first...
I love the thing just sucks how everything has gone down so far from the moment I opened the package.
I actually saw your YouTube vid, that's what made me ask. I washoping to see that yours was an isolated incident... Sounds like they are treating you right so far?
It was the only option they had when I ordered, though I reckon it is what I would have ordered anyway.
I guess I think black can look kind of cheap, as can silver, but a deep blackish silver, say gunmetal, looks more refined to me. Besides, I'm putting an orange skin on it and will just as well spray paint it if I don't like the color. I never get too hung up in stuff like that.
That means the chip is not regulating and firing at the battery voltage. Its the way the DNA chip works at low voltage
The OLED material placed inside the display is narrower on one side than the other side. The display glass is not cut on an angle. That's just the design of the display. If the glass had broken the display would die and not light up at all, however the device would still work just not display anything.Question guys: Take a look at your rDNA's screen and see if your LCD is cut on angles. Its hard to describe, but if you look where the battery is, very close and see if the screen itself is small at the battery/ohms/vol then gets bigger as you get to the watts. Mine is like that and wanted to make sure my crystal didnt break or something lol. It works fine, just an eye sore for those who are OCD. Impossible to snap a picture to show you guys :/
Lemme know what you find!
